When talking about men, what does skinny mean to you?

Does someone who is not overweight seem out of the norm(maybe odd is a better word) or unhealthy looking on a visual level? (excluding muscular)
Possibly to some people it might. Overweight couples and families, and even a wider circle do seem to normalise that body type amongst themselves.

Yes it was sad. Really think for a moment about women and body image, and watch this video, and then wonder whether you also wish to think or feel like a teenage girl.
Anyway, all of you skinny men like curvy women - I know it's true! So don't bother denying it! Are you as judgemental about other people's bodies as you are of your own?
Do you really think the women who make these comments are actually thinking about how short, skinny and unattractive you are?, because there is probably more to it than that, and they may well not be thinking anything of the sort. I had a lot of similar comments when I was younger and it still happens often now. Usually when I'm eating food, because I fucking love food. What I'm trying to tell you is that it's more about them, and their perception of themselves, and not actually about you.

Wait, what?

I made the mistake once of telling my husband how cute he looks with his little paunch. He began going to the gym fervently. He thought I was making fun of him, and I was quite serious. I've never seen that paunch since.
