When you jerk off, do you do it dry or with lube/lotion?

I almost always jerk off with some type of lubricant (Vaseline, lotion, or actual lube) and I thought that’s what every guy does. However, I’ve noticed that a lot of guys actually just stroke their dicks dry. I’ve seen this from guys sending me nudes and also amateur porn or small Onlyfans creators. Most of the mainstream stuff has guys using lube. I have jerked off without lube and, in my opinion, it doesn’t feel nearly as good. What do you prefer?

Also, my way of jerking off is different than most. Instead of gripping my shaft and just going up and down, I really just massage the upper part of my dick (tip and the skin that would be a foreskin if I were uncut). Stroking my shaft doesn’t do much for me. That probably makes a big difference with lubed/dry because playing with a dry tip is different than a dry shaft.

I usually be having pre cum built up in my foreskin because I watch porn and get hard but don’t touch myself. Then when I go to jerk off, I use foreskin and precum to slide over my head and the bottom of my shaft. The top stays somewhat dry cause when my dick is too slippery, it gets harder to pull the skin back to rub my head. I voted dry, but I like it both ways
