moonpies. Fucking gross.
Moonpies are a spinoff cousin of the S'More. In the Carolinas, you pair a Moon Pie with a bottle of Royal Crown Cola and roasted shelled red hulled peanuts.
Moon Pies can be good though. Depending on what you get and how you use them.

I use the Chocolate Flavor and the Banana Flavored ones. I get the Orange Flavored ones sometimes.

Snickers Moon Pie A La Mode
Ingredients:
One Chocolate Moon Pie
One SNICKERS bar
Two Scoops of Breyer's Chocolate Chip
Caramel Syrup or Sauce
Roasted Peanuts

DIRECTIONS:
1. Open package of Moon Pie. Cut Moon Pie in half and put halves in a microwable bowl butterflied with the cut sides facing up. Put SNICKERS BAR in the middle.
2. Microwave for 30 seconds on High. Yet, watch the bowl. Microwave at more time, if needed. You want to melt the Moon Pie and the SNICKERS bar to a good melted consistency to your liking.
3. Take bowl out of microwave. Add your two scoops of ice cream, Top ice cream with caramel syrup (or sauce). Add your roasted peanuts.
4. Enjoy!!!

I'm from Jersey, Grits are breakfast food up here. The only thing I like mixed in with them is a bit of butter and sugar. Or my scrambled eggs, and maybe yellow american cheese or shredded Cracker Barrel extra sharp cheddar.

Well, I have seen a lot chefs use grits in different ways. Grits are breakfast food but they can be lunch and dinner food. I have seen grits cut into cubes and toasted or deep fried into cubes like a crouton and put on a salad. Even cut into rounds with a cooked shrimp in the middle of the round deep fried or broiled. Served with a jalapeno sauce. (A saw a chef do this for a Sunday brunch and for a New Year's Eve party.

I have seen grits prepared so many ways. My sister has to have sugar and dollops of grape jelly in her grits bowl.

Food that should have a mercy killing!
boston baked beans - the candy
Clear Kool-Aid
Pop-Tarts - brown sugar cinnamon
Mc Rib
Scrapple
Souse
Pigs Feet a.k.a. trotters
Pacific Rim Cuisine
Cheesy Shrimp Grits

I've got to take exception on a couple of these things...

McRib--utterly nasty, ground pork product with a gloppy barbecue sauce, but I LOOOOOOVE them. It's a good thing that I have given up most meats and only eat pork on rare occasion.

Cheesy Shrimp Grits--I love grits in any fashion. I especially love some good ol' low-country cooking, and shrimp and grits is one of the staples. Every year, my church has a Christmas breakfast catered by a member of our church who has a catering company. Shrimp and grits is always one of the items. You should see us all run to that over the eggs, waffles, etc.

milk (it's from cow titties)

sorry but milk and Oreo cookies represent the top shelf of snack cuisine! As I speak I have an entire bag and a full glass of milk while watching the Sopranos.
Wild Goose.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. Apparently the simple Oreo has/had trans fat both in the cookie bit, and in the creamy bit.

I can hear your arteries hardening, even at this distance.

I'm from Texas. I had a whole avocado with my breakfast today. <3

Ew somebody mentioned funnel cakes. I can't even stand the smell of them. I don't know why. Funnel cakes and curry cause my gag reflex to fire up.

Ok,

Why hasnt anyone mentioned vienna sausages and potted meat, chicken ala king or creamed chipped beef?
Vienna sausages are made from chicken lips, frog fins, and horse feathers. Yum! (NOT!)

I worked at the Nestle Ice cream factory that makes that stuff... You may not want to eat it, if you knew the process.
Uh, Jeff, isn't that true of any processed, pre-packaged food? A lot of people think I'm crazy for preferring to make so many things "from scratch," but I just trust myself more than I trust the QC guys at most processing plants. My partner and I both love ice cream, but so far my assertion that I make tastier, more wholesome, cheaper ice cream hasn't made much of an impression on him.

I used to love chorizo, until I read the ingredients. I don't care how delicious it may be, I will never eat it again!
