I was just wondering: where can college guys pose nude now that Playgirl is no longer really a thing? I mean, I know there are a lot of porn sites like Corbin Fisher or Fratmen (I’m showing my age!) where guys can make money for participating in unlikely sexual scenarios.

But what about guys who just want to show off their bodies? What if guys just want to have some clean fun, work with professional photographers, and maybe get some campus cred? Where can they pose?

Daniel Nardicio briefly restarted it to much fanfare in 2010, with celebrity centerfolds and a GREAT “Campus Hunks” issue featuring Brent Walker. He drove the “Shaggin Wagon” across the US and met with hundreds of college guys who were eager to pose nude, saying that many of them just came up to the van to take off their shirts and show their abs. So the need is there.

I’ve worked at a small college for decades, and I see lots of guys who I would rock the “Campus Hunks” issue of Playgirl magazines of yore. But Playgirl, at least as I knew it growing up, no longer exists. Yes, it’s been re-launched in Italy, but it has almost no media presence, and I don’t think they even have a “Campus Hunks” issue anymore.

Can anyone suggest alternatives to Playgirl, especially for college-aged guys? Or young guys who might want some experience in modeling?

Playgirl for me tried to communicate a subtle reality of the men who posed in it, and that is the definition of art- truth through beauty.

Thank you!

Print magazines have really declined. Gay erotic magazines evenmore. I don't know a single person who reads them. Everyone reads on their phone, tablet, etc. This isn't the 70s or 80s where anyone could just start up a zine. (I just watched Minx, about a feminist mag with hung centerfolds. Check it out!) Everything is online now. Ten years ago everyone had a blogger site for their erotic. And you have a good point. The photos in magazines shot by professional photographers are so much better. THey can really bring out the best of a person with lighting and shots.
t'd be nice if there was a paper edition of said periodical, not just web based. The need is there, and so is the market.
I know of Attitude. DNA. Tetu.

I googled and found this. It's digital versions of gay erotic magazines. So here you have some titles to look up. You can probably get them in printed form.

Gay Magazine Subscriptions
Twitter and Onlyfans
^This is the answer. Twitter is adult content friendly, for now. And everyone and their mother has an onlyfans or just for fans. You can also check out Reddit, where tons of guys go to show off just for kicks, without asking for money.

I agree. Nothing can take the place of real paper and ink. I still listen to vinyl. I can't believe that some colleges don't even provide textbooks anymore. You read all materials on your kindle screen. That's not learning.

Some (not even most, let alone all) college students are now conditioned that nothing is important in a course unless it's on a PowerPoint slide, and in fact, if a professor doesn't use PowerPoint slides, then he/she didn't teach anything the entire semester. (Who has done the conditioning? Other professors who put most of the course on PowerPoint slides and don't ask exam questions about anything that's not on a PowerPoint slide. As one U. of Illinois professor first said to me, Power corrupts and PowerPoint corrupts absolutely.)

Any suggestions for fit/jockish Reddit guys of a Fratpad caliber? Don't have to be doing anything NSFW.

I'm just going to gently request that we try to stick to the original intention of the thread, which is to share quality information about where college guys can pose naked. I prefer print media, but I'm also interested in learning about reputable online resources/venues.

I'm also just asking that we try to treat each other with kindness and civility, even if we don't always see eye to eye (gee, maybe I should follow my own advice!)

I'm sincerely grateful to everyone for sharing their ideas and thoughts on this thread. I've learned a lot following the thread, and I'm really happy with all the cool info and links.

Thanks a lot!

Your question about magazines is an interesting one. I'm not aware of any regularly published print magazines featuring naked men in the United States. I can't remember the last time I've seen any gay erotic print periodical. I used to subscribe to Freshmen, Playgirl, Playguy, and bought issues of In Touch, Mandate, etc. They're all gone, as far as I know.

How is it not learning if it is the same information in the books? It just takes a while to get used to the transition from physical books to screen books but it is the same, trust me.

Art classes for adults often look for life models. This may involve nudity or not.

You do have to be able to hold a pose for an extended period of time. I did this in college to make extra money.
I did this also. Pay was ok... ($5-7.50/hr, as I recall, when other campus jobs were paying $3-4/hr) but you did have to "hold" poses for the slower artists. It was odd the first time I did it (step up to the posing podium in a class-provided bathrobe, peel it off and be nude underneath), but I got used to it pretty quickly.
