How is that Playgirl+ going to make money anyway? How many men who want some quick bucks are gonna choose theirs over onlyfans anyway, where they have full control of everything. The stigma remains the same if these decide to involve in pornography, might as well just do it on site where money go to your bank account each month then just one time only payment.

I did this also. Pay was ok... ($5-7.50/hr, as I recall, when other campus jobs were paying $3-4/hr) but you did have to "hold" poses for the slower artists. It was odd the first time I did it (step up to the posing podium in a class-provided bathrobe, peel it off and be nude underneath), but I got used to it pretty quickly.
How long ago did you do it? I did it back in the late 80's... The art classes in Chicago's wealthy suburbs paid very well. I would make $200 per hour for a fully nude pose.

I'm a photographer on Model Mayhem, and they can certainly do it there. There's even a nude picture of the day contest where they can compete. Its free and fun and they may even land a paying gig to show off their hot body. Any college-aged guy looking to do a nude shoot is certainly welcome to contact me either here or on gmail at califotoz.
I've heard of that site, is it like a portfolio site for models and photographers? Where do they get work from when they land a gig? Is the site used for finding talent for adult-film business or mainstream media?

Lol! Just a bunch of nudist/exhibitionist who think they can 'model' is more like it. It is also where many porn 'talents' got discovered too. There are some 'legit' people (both photographers and models) who were/are on there but rare unless you know them.

I was just wondering: where can college guys pose nude now that Playgirl is no longer really a thing? I mean, I know there are a lot of porn sites like Corbin Fisher or Fratmen (I’m showing my age!) where guys can make money for participating in unlikely sexual scenarios.

But what about guys who just want to show off their bodies? What if guys just want to have some clean fun, work with professional photographers, and maybe get some campus cred? Where can they pose?

Daniel Nardicio briefly restarted it to much fanfare in 2010, with celebrity centerfolds and a GREAT “Campus Hunks” issue featuring Brent Walker. He drove the “Shaggin Wagon” across the US and met with hundreds of college guys who were eager to pose nude, saying that many of them just came up to the van to take off their shirts and show their abs. So the need is there.

I’ve worked at a small college for decades, and I see lots of guys who I would rock the “Campus Hunks” issue of Playgirl magazines of yore. But Playgirl, at least as I knew it growing up, no longer exists. Yes, it’s been re-launched in Italy, but it has almost no media presence, and I don’t think they even have a “Campus Hunks” issue anymore.

Can anyone suggest alternatives to Playgirl, especially for college-aged guys? Or young guys who might want some experience in modeling?

Playgirl for me tried to communicate a subtle reality of the men who posed in it, and that is the definition of art- truth through beauty.

Thank you!

(Incidentally, people interested in my reflections on college guys’ physicality and behavior in the locker room can check out my thread: "For the Love of College Boys":
Twitter Is One of the best options i think (drop the tag later lol)

Thanks, but I don't think Instagram allows nudity, and also it'd be nice if there was a paper edition of said periodical, not just web based. The need is there, and so is the market. If no such circular exists, then maybe someone here could create one! Just a thought...
I think if there was a need or market, it would still be around? Everyone and everything is switching to digital.

Get Instagram or onlyfans tease shots then come out with a paper calendar sold on your website. Dunno if online printing places prohibit nudity, probably.

Yes, exactly. They can also get paid gigs through the site or by being noticed in the site by an agency. Also, it is a good way to get some pro shots to send out, especially if you are just getting started.

Google search these photographers and if you decide to model for them, exercise extreme caution and draw lines on what's OK and what's not OK. There is an unspoken "Blacklist" published by an online vigilant who goes by "shitmodelmgmt" on social media.

at-mentions and search on Twitter for reports to "shitmodelmgmt" handle account: https://twitter.com/search?q=@shitmodelmgmt&src=typed_query&f=live

Be safe and I hope you find modeling nude fulfilling and artistic freedom.
OMG. I knew there were some predators out there but this is just shocking. This just completely makes me hate this entire industry because I am guessing these people are surrounded by enablers who continue to work with and fund these people. Good God. Deeply disturbing.

Don't hate the industry because of the few bad apples in the bunch. The fashion and entertainment industry is solace for creatives and people who are not cut out and/or meant for the real hardcore sciences.

I am NOT SAYING that the creative industries are comprised of medical school rejects or physics dropouts...you know what I mean.

I digress.
