Ever since Craigslist got weird, it's pretty hard to hook up with guys anymore. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I've used AdultFriendFinder years ago. Yeah, that one is good. I had a paid membership, but now they want $40 a month. The thing with these memberships, who can afford $40 a month for a hit and miss approach to sort through the people that are for real, or the ones full of BS. Like Adam4Adam, it's free, but is anybody really serious or are they just there playing games? Then, there are the fake profiles. On Doublelist you have all the profanity and rude behavior. Have you seen some of their ads from guys? I guess it's gotten to the point where the Internet is just NOT a safe place to meet people anymore. This brings to mind a show that I saw on late night TV about predators about 15 years ago. They had a news show (I think it was on Nightline or 20/20) that teamed up with cops trying to catch predators on those online websites. So this had me thinking, is any site really safe if you're looking for sex anymore? I really think it all stopped when Craigslist Personals stopped. Maybe it would be a good idea if there was an age checker on these sites, at least. Children or anyone under 21 should NOT be allowed, by whatever means necessary.I just learned something very interesting about AdultFriendFinder. Most people don't know about the blog section. Once you check out that part of the site you'll understand without me having to explicitly let the cat out of the bag.
You can find the blogs in the community section of the banner on the home page of the website, but you'll at least need to make a free account to get that far, but you don't have to pay.

Thanks for all of your input!
Ted Bundy? Wow, I didn't mean to upset you dude. My point being that the Internet isn't safe anymore was all I was trying to point out. Maybe it is your area, that's good! About posting a thread......no, thank you! I've said all I want to say here. I really think I've had enough of these forums anyway. Sometimes no response is the best response in this case. My intention wasn't to piss somebody off. I'm sorry I was misunderstood. Please accept my apology! This thread isn't about whether hooking up online is good or not. The question is, what websites do you use now that CL is gone. My post was regarding that topic, I was not making judgements on the act.
There is inherent risk in meeting any person, whether you were introduced online or not. Ted Bundy did just fine without craigslist. Classified ads now are actually more safe, if less effective, because everyone has the ability to post free ads. The result is ads that are more directly tied to the posters masturbation than any act that will happen in the future, so there is never really an intent to meet.
It's sounds like you are talking about "To Catch a Predator." I don't know why you would bring that up. That show is about child predators, this thread is about people who want to have semi-anonymous sex. The two should not be conflated. Nobody is advocating for any minor to take part in this activity, and its wrong to imply that.
All of the sites that have been listed as alternatives to Craigslist have methods to check for age. Craigslist, the site that doesn't allow personal ads anymore and didn't do age checking, is the site that doesn't work for this anymore and is what alternatives are being searched for.
My post was only about a method of circumventing paid registration for AdultFriendFinder to access the community of free users who are able to communicate openly, which can be found by following the directions in my post.
This thread is about finding alternatives to a service a lot of people used that is no longer available. If you think there is something morally wrong or dangerous about that act then that's fine, but you should make a thread about that topic. People in this thread have already made their decision about this activity and might not appreciate the input that you have given.
Wow! What LA Fitness are you going to? I'm actually moving to Orlando soon.Gyms for at least meeting. Goodness, the amount of cruising at LA Fitness around Orlando is pretty high. About 50% of the time I shower, some guy has his shower curtain open. One guy showed me his boner and I went over and jerked him for a few seconds. He kissed me and as much as I wanted to play, I am very hesitant on public stuff. Can't jeopardize getting caught. It was hot though.
