Boi, that was delightful.
I hadn't seen the original video before.
It was a nice object lesson in how susceptible we are to hoaxing.
And if you didn't like that lesson, the whole thing was redeemed by the final few seconds.

Bizarre, I totally bought it too. I went to school with the guy, it was totally believable that he would go out and do the real thing. Never thought he would end up an actor.

I thought it was sarcastic, somewhat stupid, somewhat fake. He seems to think this was important like finding a cancer cure too. He needed the note cards??? Really???

i agree. i think matt was being way too sarcastic for admit the video was a hoax. i think the video is real, and this admission is the hoax

Took me a minute to get that. Agreed, he was responding to criticism that he had photoshopped parts of it, by making a statement. Animatronic robots don't dance like that!

i don't understand why that is so shocking. public speakers write note cards for keep on track. i learned it this year in my public speaking class, actually. he doesn't have his entire speech on the cards, prolly just topic sentences written in the order he wants to address them in
