Ok, before anyone says anything, I am 100% straight. A (female) friend asked me that question a few hours ago and it was after she complimented me and asked where she could meet guys like, you know, like me.

I'm assuming she meant someone who thinks sex should be a priority, smart, inquisitive, easy to talk to, etc. I'm not trying to be full of myself here, but when I was single, I could never seem to find the right place to meet women who had the same passions I had. Bars are meat markets, I don't do church, book stores and supermarkets are other places I'd go, but I'd never go there to meet someone.

The only place I've seen people like-minded are lpsg and at the dojo I work out in. I do believe martial artists in general have a really twisted sense of fun, and are very analytical and physical. The 3 basic traits I'm drawn to.

Anyway I suggested she join a martial arts or kickboxing gym. Does anyone else have any place they could think of?

Thanks, AlteredEgo, that answer's awesome. Obviously, I'm a dog lover too, so a logical place for me if I was single would be at a dog park. They do have a way of lowering people's defenses and get conversations started quickly. I like it.

I want to hear more from the guys here. Basically, where would a cute hypersexual woman meet a nice guy with brains, a sense of humor, hypersexual and had a big dick?

... Oh, and loves to talk descriptively about porn too.

In other words, if I was a woman looking for you, where would I find you?

My str8 male and female friends who ask this get the same answer as the gay and lesbian friends . . . directed away from bars and to other social settings.
Take a class that interests you at the local community college
Join a volunteer organization you believe in
Join a fitness club and participate in a group or league
Go to parties, dinners, outings with friends to meet friends of friends
Get out and do something you enjoy, have passion about.
You will meet others who share you interests and passions.

I'm big on coffeeshops, but it has to be the right kind of coffeeshop in the right location. People hanging out in a downtown coffeeshop between 5-8 PM on weekdays usually have jobs, usually aren't alcoholics, and they are rarely in a relationship. I was really into coffeeshop scrabble because you could play with more people and there's more conversation than coffeeshop chess.

I meet my dream guys at the community colleges. To me, college is the best place to meet with the like-minded people.

I've met most of the guys I've known through mutual friends.

When I was young I occasionally picked up a guy at the club or at parties, although I don't believe any of these became anything more than one night stands.

I've also met quite a few guys through a medieval recreation group I'm involved with.
