BUT.... I watched the WHOLE thing, and in the less than 3 and a half minutes he talked about that little bitty problem some folks blow out of proportion and call a "WAR", did he mention once the now confirmed prisioners of war? or that he hasn't brought a single (living) troop home only canceled their funding for resupply? or perhaps use the word "HAVE" or "DID" in the contex of doing a single thing about it he said he would or did he just point at his fingers like magic beans hes selling and repeat "gonna" over and over?.............. it got wordy, my mind wonders...


if you ever do get down this way i'll thank you for showing me reality, maybe i'll buy you dinner or let you wear my purple heart around or give you one of bullets i've had pulled out of me, you can keep it cause i have 3.....thank you for showing me the 3 minutes of reality kind sir

I've never been the one to just blindly accept orders and do whatever some person with a loud mouth and preconceived rank tells me to. When I had a snappy comeback for everything said by the drill instructor in Full Metal Jacket, I realized that the military wasn't for me. But I digress...

Some people don't need the armed forces, unlike yourself, to develop a sense of discipline or be trained to chase after your goals in life. I have much respect for anyone who does enter into the Military. Two of my cousins went into the Navy and one of my best friends from high school was in Iraq during the war. However, this respect varies from person to person. The fact that you spent nine years of your life in the armed forces doesn't mean shit to me. Because after all of that training... all of that hard work and preparing you went through to become the man you think you are, what was the end result? A completely clueless, race baiting bigot from Georgia who thinks black people bring down the property values of land. Nice failure, Private Snafu. Was there some kind of "No Child Left Behind" program in the armed forces that we weren't aware of? You can try and belittle me for my homosexuality, the fact that I haven't lost my sense of youth or the fact that I'm living with a man that is older than me who makes more money than I do. That doesn't ultimately define me as a human being, except in the shallow minds of ignorant fucks such as yourself who think the world owes you something because you played the modern day equivalent of Cowboys & Indians across the ocean. Somehow it doesn't sink in your head that one doesn't have to go into the Military in order to prove one's worth in this world. The fact that I decided that I wanted to have a career in web design, computers and music then developed my own company that allows me to does just that shows a level of discipline and determination I already had within me. One that didn't need to be taught to me by a drill sergeant. Let's not make this an issue about my physical abilities to be in the armed forces because that would be another argument that you would lose. What I can do and what I choose not to do are two completely different issues. Of course, you could never see that.
