I see a lot of these places. I'm looking to setup an LLC here in NY and wondering if which of all the myriad online legal people who do this are any good. If you have any experience with them, please let me know. I'm leaning to The Company Corporation as they seem to offer a good package.

    Thanks!

Don't take this the wrong way, but isn't this kind of an odd forum to ask a question like this? "Guys who are hung and the women who love them like LegalZoom.com" ain't exactly the most convincing endorsement.

Although you did say they offered a good package...

I think you'll be surprised (less so than a while ago... but anyway) at what you can find here.

I read the links you provided. I'm not all that impressed but frankly that's because New York makes everything so convoluted that any legal dealing with the state resembles a scene from Brazil. I don't want to end up like poor Mr. Tut-- er Buttle.

Do you see this thing? People are sucked into it and never return. I've met people wandering its narrow dungeons, trapped for decades. That's just our county building.

This thing landed in Albany during the Rockefeller years. The inhabitants control the minds of the Albany pols and it's where New York citizens with blinking palm lights go for Carousel.
