Whistler - Vancouver, BC

I'm sure we have some Vancouver, BC members on the forums.... I'm thinking of heading up to Whistler for a getaway for my birthday in late January. Any recommendations on places to stay, things to do, etc. Turning 30 and want to enjoy it.

Any help, hints or tips would be appreciated.:smile:

Depends what you mean by "want to enjoy it".

Skiing's great at Whistler. I believe Canada will hold at least some of the alpine events at Whistler/Blackcomb.

I plan on getting to the slopes, hitting some local microbrew pubs, hanging in the hottub, driving around the area, etc.

Something different. Last year I did Vegas, a few years ago I did Outer Banks, NC... Going cold this year and trying to figure out this darn snowboard :biggrin1:
