I know it's all personal preference but having lived in Thailand and seen much of the "The East" I can honestly say that Thai girls are the last on my list of Asian women I'd lust after, for many reasons.

The difference between the women (physically & attitude) is amazing, and you can see this in somewhere like Hong Kong where the Chinese, Filipino & Thai girls are all in a small area. It takes a certain type of man to date a Thai woman I find, and i'm not talking bar girls or hookers.

Personal preference is something like

Japanese (by a country mile)
Chinese
Korean
Filipino

Very true, but it is funny that many farang prefer the darker skinned girls.

Edit: But I have to say at least half the university girls I saw in Bangkok were that light

Got to be careful NOT to tarnish everyone with the same brush as some of us go out diving and to teach diving and NOT for the women.

A lot of guys go to Thailand to try the whole Thai thing. Some parts are just an adult play park and you can do in a short time bar order a steak and get a blow job until it's ready for $10..

The other type are guys that go year after year and have "girl friends" where they basically buy them out of the bar for the duration of the time there. These guys are less about the sex but more about having a young girl on their arm, and the girl takes care of them. Thai women while being the cultural drivers can be very subservient that you just don't get in the UK..

Our dive shop is next to a girly bar and you see it all the time, for $300 you can have a girl for a week, that will cook for you, clean your apartment, and shag you of a night.. Not my scene but some people choose that way of life.

Yes, but I am saying if you are looking for a girl, why would you travel to thailand and look for a girl that you can find in your own country. Men who are single and visit thailand like the small thin tan girl. Also they like that a young girl will be with an older man in many cases. I have to admit, I felt a little strange, especially in Pattaya, seeing men in their 60's with 18 year old girls in tow.
