I wouldn't have traveled all around the world if I stuck with the fiancee. If you found a good American girl and she doesn't boss you around, I am happy for you. But for other guys, like myself, it wasn't meant to be. Just don't judge me for liking foreign women over American.

Do you refer to american women as white women? How about black women, are they american, too? And how about Asian women who are raised in "american/western" societies - are they american, too?
An Asian raised in american/western societies will not know much beyond western roles.

Well, really, as this thread's been going along (and sometimes before it started), I've wondered why I've had such a tendency.
Regarding Dr. No, I remember seeing it on TV as a kid and enjoying how the girls treated James. I didn't see that kind of behavior in other Bond films.
Also, my granddad had quite a collection of household items, both functional and decorative, from when he was stationed in Okinawa, so I could say that I was exposed to the Far Eastern aesthetic early on. He even had tumblers with erotic Japanese art on them.
Add in the typical 1970's fascination with martial arts thanks to stars like Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris, and I had quite an interest in Far Eastern cultures.
BUT... I didn't know very many, uh, Oriental people when I was growing up, so most of what I knew, for better or worse, came from Hollywood and other entertainment outlets.
Fortunately, when I finally met more "native", less "Americanized" Asian women, I found them to be largely approachable and easy to get along with. There were a couple Japanese exchange student girls in college who made sitting in the computer lab much more pleasant. Maybe it was because they felt I was already interested, maybe they saw me as a rare friend in a new country. Whatever the reason, I felt more welcomed by them than by almost any of the white women at the school.

I am being told that spending $15 billion to promote (force) the French language in the rest of Canada is fair when the province of Quebec doesn't support or recognize the English language.
I am being told that paying $1million for 3 Stripes ('The Voice of Fire' painting in Ottawa ) by the National Art Gallery was a good purchase, even though 99% of this country didn't want it or will ever see it.
When I look at my pension and realize that I take home a third of what I actually make, I say 'Oh well, at least we have better health care than the Americans.'
I must bail out big corporations who drive their business into the ground and say, 'yeah that's ok.' When they move all their manufacturing plants and jobs to a third world country and say, 'no problem.'
My National Anthem has versions in both “official” languages.
Canada is the highest taxed nation in North America, the biggest Military buffer for the United States, and the number one destination for fleeing terrorists. I am not an angry white person. I am one pissed off taxpayer, who is broke I am Canadian !!!

I thought about that. And I like that. I want to be treated as a person and not a doormat or an overglorified servant who does all the work including the cooking and cleaning. I also like that Canadians are more open-minded.
I refer to American women as ones that adopt the puritanical and self-entitled ways of this country. Not just the whites and blacks but a handful of Asians that do too. I also refer to other whites from Europe as European, Australian from Australia, etc, Blacks from Africa vs Blacks from the US (another version of American women).

Our country is being ruined the same ways. Except the second language is Spanish instead of French. The Federal Reserve runs this country now and writes all these bi-laws to bypass the constitution. Guns must be registered to a Department of Firearms, They don't give handgun licenses, and our deficit in the trillions=higher taxes. Oh and NAFTA is the cause for welfare to foreigners in both our countries and Mexico.

In my opinion, few of the western men who marry Asian women basically got rejected from too many white women with attitude, could never get a white woman, wanted variety during less availability of white women, divorced a white feminazi, or visited Asia and received kingly treatment from the local, third-world Asian women. However, I believe that maybe 1% of the interracial relationships between white men and asian women could be genuine like for each other and mainly if they are both raised in the United States.

The flip side is that these men did not want to put up with this attitude. In the end, it was the men who decided not to marry.
I knew a case where a friend was at his friend place with is fiance. The men were in the middle of a conversation and he asked his fiance, "Can please get us some drinks". To which she relpied, "Get them yourself, you have two hands, I am not your slave." The first freind was dumbfounded.
Why make a politcal point and embarrass a friend? i dont remember if they did end up getting married, but I feel for him.
And, Asian women raised here could also adopt the same type of entitlement attitude.
Your orginal point may have some truth to it, but you could apply that to foreign women in general, not just Asian. I know of white men wanting a Latina women for many of those same reasons.

You need to come to NYC, where you will see a large number of inter-racial couples, especially white men with Asian girls. In this case I am not talking about the 60 year old with the 18 year old. I am talking about to people in their early 20's.
