which would you rather ...

a perfect white smile but with dragon breath that makes people cork their noses whenever you speak OR not so 'perfect' yellow smile but 'pleasant'/non-offensive breath?

i prefer the latter ... would be great to have a 'perfect' smile with beautiful pearly whites but the thought of person's having to cork or cover their noses when i speak would be terrible. sure you say, gum/mint but to micro manage yourself so that you ensure you have those in your mouth everytime you speak ... worst when getting close to a love interest ... no thanks.

Can't vote. One must have white teeth and clean breath. I can't believe when someone of means does not do this. I know a guy that his teeth look bad. I actually found a way to bring this up. Difficult. He just thought they looked fine. Arghhhh. Oral care is related to other health issues too.

Good dental hygiene takes less than 5 minutes. Gentle brushing with a circular motion, followed by cleaning your tongue with a tongue scraper, and then using dental floss. The crud on the tongue is one of the major causes of bad breath. The tongue scraper will clean all that crud off. I can't kiss or make out with anyone who doesn't maintain good hygiene.

Lol, I am with sdbg, dental hygiene is easy.

It takes brushing twice a day for 2 mins, scraping the tongue takes even less time and flossing can be done prior to bed.

There should be no excuses really.

Well as Twistbarbie pointed out in another section, there's a possibility it could be coming from somewhere beyond the mouth and may need to be looked into too. Sinus and other infections can cause it, and keeping fresh smells inside your mouth just mixes the two together. It's probably not an easy thing to bring up to someone you're not yet super close with though. Be considerate.

In the medical term its called dark teeth rather than yellow teeth. but honestly, i would rather have dark(yellowish) teeth and pleasant breath than white but terrible breath. cos yellow teeth doesnt always necessarily mean bad. in fact it means that your teeth are strong and healthy because of your mineral intake. and besides there's always bleaching. unlike white but terrible breath, that terrible breath could be a sign of oral problems, or even more serious.
