Um. you're a straight man in America asking this question? Women in America traveling to Jamaica to fuck black natives? Do you live in America? have you dated American women? If a white woman wants to be fucked by a black guy, she doesn't need to travel to Jamaica to do it.
If you've dated any women in America, you'll know that they all want relationships and the tired trope that "I can get sex anytime I want it." As a single guy dating in LA, I am constantly assaulted by women with their canned, rehearsed logic of, "If i wanted to get laid, i can just go to a bar. I want something serious and meaningful."
Further, my point is, as I reflect over my various relationships with women, they ALL want the Oprah-induced serious, meaningful relationships, prince charming, their soulmate, the one, etc.
So yes, this does surprise me. Why would American women travel to a far off island destination targetting black men for sex, when they could simply do it at home?
The one line from the documentary that does resonate some sense of logic is uttered in VO as a morbidly obese white woman waddles down the beach, flanked by two lean, shirtless, black guys "Women who most men would not look twice at in America, get a lot of attention in Jamaica."
Otherwise the idea that women seek out sex without commitment is preposterous and flies in the face of everything I've ever witnessed in female behavior.
Using the comparison of Men going to Asia is merely "apples to oranges." Men SEEK OUT sex without commitment. They leave their wives or steady girlfriends what-have-you, to seek out sex with docile, willing, eager to please, asian girls, without the burden of commitment.
I don't see how you can compare the two on equal footing.
If you made the argument that American women went to the exotic isle of Jamaica in search of a serious, meaningful relationship, then that would make much more sense.
The veracity of the documentary is further cast in a dubious light in that there are no female interviews in the documentary. The one quasi "interview" is a woman sitting next to a black guy at the bar with some lazy female VO. And even further dubious B roll footage of women innocently, frolicking on the beach where there just so happens to be a black guy a stones throw away.
So yes, in summation, I am amazed by this.
What's there to be amazed by? Black men are highly fetish-ized in a sexual sense... not unlike Asian women, which is why you find a high number of European men traveling to Asia as sex tourists.
