Goddamn link won't load for me. Wtf happened!

Nobody knows for sure. Allegedly, it happened at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Just a bunch of TMZ bullshit speculation is all the first link is (Finally loaded for me after three or four tries.)

In the ABC link, no one really knows anything. Her publicist just said she'd passed. No details.

I feel bad for her family, because it's so clear that she was self destructing for a long, long time.

May she rest in peace.

There are tons of stars staying at the Beverly Hills hotels tonight for the Grammy's and Clive Davis' BIG party tonight...she is usually the belle of the ball every year and they always go in together, quite sad. CNN and Don Lemon have respectful coverage on now.

RIP! This is so shocking and sad. She was so talented. I always had hope that she would somehow get her life together and make a comeback.

I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with mediatakeout (its an urban gossip rag) but they're speculating it was a suicide based on a story they ran a few days ago showing what appeared to be signs of cutting and blood on her body.

Not sure that those are signs of self injuring behaviors, but DAMN! Girl looks a HOT MESS.

Any word on exactly how old those pix are? I know she's purported to have been clean for about a year and a half, but.....alas.

NO FREAKING WAY!

This has to be some sort of sick sad joke.

Dumbfounding, disbelief, shock.

What a monumental waste if it is indeed true.

I've shed numerous tears years ago over Whitney. Never have I been so touched by such a bright, wonderful ray of light that she and her voice and her magnificently-toned effervescence shed on me (and the rest of the world); only to be so devastated (for her) when she allowed some of life's perils to overcome her.

This news has the tears welling up again. Notwithstanding all the really "important" (i.e., political) tragedies I've been witness to in my life thus far--well, this one eclipses them all in my heart.
