Whitney Houston was an amazingly talented individual but flawed just like the rest of us. People should lay off dwelling on her addiction unless they are leading a perfect life. Everyone has weaknesses. Is her addiction to drugs any worse than another person's obsession with big dicks, cigarettes, alcohol, or talking gossipy shit all of the motherfucking time? I don't think so.
Yes, I think it is worse - for her at least. Far more destructive than the others with the possible exception of alcohol.

WHY is anyone shocked and amazed? That's what drugs do to people.
This.

For me, it's not shocking, it's sad. Sad because everyone could see the road that she was going down, and hoping she'd pull through it.

It's sad that she never did.

Sometimes you just can't stop a road crash from happening.

she had beauty, grace and of course the voice of an angel...She had a strong faith in God and even through her low times ...Not much mention of Bobby Brown and yes as an individual you choose to take that first addicting drug. I cant help think hearing Bobby saying come on baby try this with me, it wont hurt you, it will make you feel good...I woke up at 1 A.M. ironically to the TV showing the movie The Body Guard and after that a hour long biography on her life...

As in the case of K. Cobain and C.Love, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown were no strangers to illicit drug use when they met. One need only view Whitney's candid interview with Oprah in Sept. 2009 to confirm this fact. Yet the false narrative, that Brown introduced Houston to the use of said drugs and his vilification in this regard, has been expounded by some scandalmongers. Long, live yellow journalism, eh.
