    then came to really like?

i mean those posters that you had some initial altercations with whether they were serious, stupid, silly or a misunderstanding, who you came to find out were really fun, good posters, who were intelligent, helpful, funny and decent, who you now find to be a great part of your time at LPSG?

obviously, some of us hit it off right away but, who for you, and why, did you first start at really having a big problem with, then, who you found to be great, and they felt the same about you?

    for me -

Senor Rubirosa...a silly misunderstanding in a thread, at an inconvenient time led to a blow up between us, which fortunately we rectified several months later, and he is one of the best, kindest, smartest and cleverest posters here....not to mention he thinks i am totally awesome, which i agree with completely.

Rex2000 - formerly Rec3000 or something - we had a bad experience in a thread of mine i started about awesomely sexy naturally super-busty porn star Gianna Michaels, in the adult websites forum. we went back and forth after he brought up another porn star who was synthetic (lanny Barbie) and we had a running fight about it for a few hours or so...turned out he was a funny, snarky, political cynic and general non-conformist/rabble rouser much like myself. since then, we have hit it off famously.

Hazel God - Originally, we had a couple of little political spats, and then i did not like him because he would not post a plethora of Gianna Michaels videos that he already had saved on his computer...selfish big tit hog that he was...but since than , we are in agreement about many things politically, not to mention, we both love naturally busty women...hooray.

Drifterwood - Drifter and I had some nasty little spats over the Iran-Israel conflict and several other Islam-Judaism related running feuds...fortunately, they calmed down a lot with the help of the afore mentioned Senor Rubirosa, and his skills at diplomacy...and we turned out to enjoy each others viewpoints, and realized that although two people can disagree vehemently on a couple of topics, that should not affect their other possible interactions...of course, once i found out that he was a Liverpool supporter, that allowed me to pity him, since clearly he was going through terrible self-doubt issues, while i, a manchester united fan continue to bask in my well-deserved glory at his expense to his great horror.

but it turns out he is also an interesting, intelligent, decent, (if deluded by his support for Liverpool) human being

so how about you? who and why did you not get along with and why, who then later, turned out to be someone you found to be great and a very good part of your experience here at LPSG?

we can call this the "All's well that ends well" thread. :biggrin1:

You, for one. But I came around. I'm remarkably open-minded when presented with good evidence.

This is not a particularly productive thread topic. It's more likely to incite than it is to bury hatchets. Or, turn into some sort of weird frenemies love-fest, which would be even more unbearable.

how could anyone possibly hate moi? I am like Grover from sesame street...blue, sweet, cuddly and totally harmless, if completely insane.

and actually i did not mean this to be a hatchet burying thread per se...i meant it merely as a tribute to conflicts buried that later bloomed into nice relationships...

    you blue-blooded killjoy.

I'll give you blue. But that's as deep as my hatchet goes.

Well, with the possible exception of friendship and loyalty. And I have references. Ask rex ;-)

I think there are many people that I have been at odds with here, but it was a long time ago. I'm sure I pissed many people off, and many disliked me and still might. Right now there is one person who I have not seen online for over a year and I hope he is gone for good. There is another person who has a problem with me, but I let it go on my end. There is another person who was my mortal sworn enemy and I never in a million years thought I would get along with, but now I see that he is not a bad guy. Otherwise I love all of you. :biggrin1:

Hate is an extreme emotion. I don't hate anyone in my "real" life let alone anyone here. But...Flashy, because you raise the question, I do agree with Nick8. Most of your posts, outside of porno links, reek of insecurity and condescension. You're quick to insult and berate anybody who dares to infringe upon your self proclaimed area of expertise. I think everybody appreciates your contributions to this site but what are you really looking for by posting this thread? Is this part of some 12 step program you're going through? Peace and Love F

hmmm quick to berate and reek of insecurity...here you state this in a thread i have deliberately started about forgiveness and reconcilliation.

and Nick 8 said none of those things that my posts reek with "insecurity and condecension"...

as for your intention to insult me in this thread, frankly, i think you are the one with the problem not i.

you offered nothing of yourself, and offered only insults and condescension yourself, for whatever reason.

I cannot recall ever having much of a problem with you at all, yet here you are, starting a problem with someone who cannot even recall any altercations with you, when he was merely starting a thread, for people to post how their *MISCONCEPTIONS* or initial errors, turned out to be a rather ultimately positive and good experience.

    but thanks for your insults.

this was supposed to be a thread about disproving initial negative perceptions and the good things that come of that.

you took a positive thread, and immediately launched a negative broadside for no reason.

    excellent job.

    Fuck all y'all!

Not hate, but I was initially not a fan of HazelGod, Gillette, ManlyBanisters, and one other person that left the site in early 2008. But, as many others have proven to be fake or deceptive, I have grown to appreciate their candor and realness. In fact, I now look forward to reading their posts when I see a new comment in the side bar.

From the beginning, I enjoyed the posts of Jason Els, BBucko, and DC Deep.

Exactly "Flashy"...that was my intent. You opened it up for discussion. I'm hoping that good things can come from my initial negative perception of you. Your initial post named and judged a number of people. You're no different. Don't judge lest you be judged. Truthfully, I don't and have never given you a second of thought. Thanks for all your contributions...

interesting...it was your intent, to come in and try and destroy a thread for no reason....rather petty.

frankly, that says more about you then about me.

as for having never given me a second of thought, here were two posts...right at me...obviously i got a few seconds in there...

and my initial post did not "judge" anyone...i stated that we had "misunderstandings"...and made humorous jokes about rex and i disagreeing over breasts in the AW forum, and jokes about Drifter being a Liverpool fan, which, ultimately helped us bond and get along

thanks for the biblical phrase....but you were the one who came in judging....not me.

as for you hoping that good things can come from you insulting me for no reason, well, i guess that gives lie to the fact that you did not waste a second of thought on me....considering this plays out like you deliberately came in to insult me, realized you had acted like a fool, then said you didn't give one second of thought to me, then claimed that you insulted me to perhaps foster a better relationship with me in the future...than you said you did not care again...

sounds to me like you certainly had a few thoughts about me...and took a certain tact to do it.

so you can keep on posting, and devote even more seconds that you have never thought about me to me...or you can simply crawl out of here...

    tah

There have been a few who I initially disliked, Mem and Doc for starters, but I came to find both of them ridiculously fun and intelligent once I "got" them. It took me a long time to warm-up to people in general so I'm one to talk. There are other people who I dislike and have disliked and I think Mem and I share the same he-who-shall-not-be-named.

...cool. Now that we've had this experience we are the perfect example of your thread. I say again, without any hint of irony, thanks for all your input.

idk if anyone remembers uncut1234, who was banned about two years ago. i hated the dude when he first joined the site and started posting. but after a while we became friends and i kind of grew to like him even though he was a smart-ass. i know a lot of people hated him and probably still do, but he wasn't that bad of a dude in my book. aside from him i can't think of anyone else.

I don't believe that anyone can have a true opinion of the OP, because I can't believe that anyone can actually read his essays when he is off on one. He's a bit like Fergie in that respect. :alcoholic::tongue:

Hmm - no-one I particularly disliked to begin with. Did take me a while to get used to Hickboy and Flashy tho, I guess (sorry, Flash ). Oh, and Jason_Els and I didn't get off to the best start, but I've long considered him one of the best and most interesting posters on here.

Quite a few I immediately liked - Pieterjoke, DiscontentBoy, Flameboy, Spoiled Princess, Calambo, Patchos, etc... And Luka, of course. ;)

The ones I didn't liked in the beginning I still don't like because their posts are still ridiculous and they still attack others...
    not much to do about...

Although with one member I had a huge arguement about a thread I started. before that thread we very nice to each other, but after that thread he was mad, mean etc etc. Yes Alex8, you!
But the misunderstandings were solved and now it's nice to chat with him

I have not hated anyone here. There is only one person who I had a deep dislike of and he was banned. I like most of the members here very much and a few others I don't agree with or find annoying; but I don't hate them or even deeply dislike them.
