hey guys, i was just curious, having not really experienced it yet, how you work out in the heat of the moment etc. who does what/is what. of course im talking about tops and bottoms. what do you do if you get with some one your getting down to it and find out your both bottoms, or tops, and wont budge from it either.

It's very common for guys to avoid anal right away. It's also very uncommon to find guys who are totally committed to being only a top or only a bottom.

Porn and softcore porn-ish TV shows like Queer as Folk are really, really unrepresentative of actual man-on-man sex, but they seem to reflect the prevailing stereotypes out there. Maybe it's reflective of a generational thing. Maybe back in the day things were more rigid in terms of "gender roles" in bed; I do find that most gay-themed entertainment is set in the present, but written like it's this weird mish-mash of the late 70s and early 90s.

Anyway, even if two committed tops or two committed bottoms ended up together, there's loads (pardon the pun) of other ways to get off that most guys (in my experience) find just as much fun - and are less likely to involve dookies.
