Setting up a 3some is tough. Setting up a group of 3+ is nearly impossible.
I have used AFF, though I hate the site, the company that runs it is so dishonest. Most of the profiles on there are fake or intended to harvest your personal contact info for spam. I have also used Craigslist, and used to be successful, tho lately it's mostly spammers harvesting email addresses or whacked out stoners trying to get money or drugs in exchange for the promise of an encounter.
The one site that is still somewhat useful, probably because it is low-traffic, is swinglifestyle. As a single guy looking to find couples for a 3some, I find that you have to be fit, hung or black. If you are not any of these things, good luck, because you're a dime a dozen. Still, finding the right chemistry is hard, and I would say I've talked to thousands of people over the years but only a few pan out.
I have always wanted to find a willing woman to date who would swing with me, but I have never found one, and have never been able to convince a woman I dated to try it. If that ever happened, I know many reliable guys I trust who would join in.
