Nice, and I thought I was the only one. I actually have phimosis really bad and its slowly getting better. I wouldn't give up my foreskin for the world tight or not -- its fine if I don't try to pull it back. I always thought I was really small so I never went to the doc for it, I was just too afraid. Like most guys I measured my length and found that I was 6" long; never thought to measure the width. The first urologist I went to immediately recommended circumcision, I basically told him he was a moron (in a nice way) and walked out of his office. The second urologist I went to had a couple of options for me. However, he actually asked me if I could get an erection and 'show' him (I thought he was just a perv). Anyways, I did and he measured the width -- which was 6" as well. He assured me that this was above normal (something every guy wants to hear) and probably part of my problem. When he pulled the skin back it didn't go past the head, and I showed him that with force you can get it passed, but it forms a tight ring around the shaft. So, if you do end up going to the doctor expect to be touched... its what they do for a living.

Anyways, he layed out my choices and by far the best one was a prescription for Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP, 0.1% and some daily stretching techniques. At first I applied the cream once a day, but I wasn't working fast enought - but it WAS working!! The two main stretching techniques were 1) pull the skin back as far as possible w/o causing [too much] pain, and 2) get some neosporin w/pain reliever and start with one finger inserted in the tip, then when you get more stretched you can do two..then three...then four. I really have to get some pictures up for you [and everyone else] to see what I am talking about. Keep the neosporin in your pocket all the time incase you break the skin a little (which you will -- I always do because I am so impatient). Plus, stretching the skin had kind of become a kinky/pleasurable thing to do... even pain can feel good at times.

I've been doing it for a year now and my dicks still not perfect, but anything beats losing the sucking and pulling of my foreskin by my partner. God foreskin feels great. If anything me and you are lucky because no matter what we will always have extra foreskin to cover the penis (even when fully hard). Something different, something cool. Also, now that I can pull the skin further back yet its still super tight, it forms a big red bulge under the head and makes the head look super hard/huge/and purple. Its great! Althrough, I am in a little bit of pain because I stretched it too far the other day, but you'll get the hang of it. You will probably need to see a doc to get the cream but at least you know what to ask for. Ohh yah, the doc said that Hydrocortisone 'eats' away at the skin and thats how it works. He said the Triamcinolone Acetonide is a little less harsh and won't damage as many nerve endings as the Hydro cream would. Good luck, and make it fun when you do it!

Surely sex should not be painful. If you like your foreskin then it is important that u keep it but surely sex or erections should not cause you pain? Couldn't a specialist recommend alternatives for you? Just a thought x

It's painful for those with phimosis because it's like giving your foreskin a really harsh so-called "indian burn", like young kids do to their friends, because while we have more skin than most uncut folks, the band of skin that normally rings around the middle of the head to the tip is significantly less elastic than normal, and causes discomfort when one attempts to pull back. During intercourse, there is repeated back and forth pulling on the foreskin, so you can imagine that if there is discomfort with even gentle pulling back, then there is a whole hell of a lot more discomfort trying to pound some pussy. Especially if she's tight/tiny ;D

But thank you everyone so much for your feedback. I will look into the cream solution. I just wish my frenulum would make as much progress as my foreskin has. All good things come to those who wait, I guess :p

Take a look at foreskin restore.
It's originally for forskin restoration but it works well also for those with problems with tight foreskin. Mine just came in the mail today and it feels great. That meaning it doesn't hurt and has the right amount of tension. I'm on my way to restoration, yay me! Anyway, my partner has the same problem as you for the most part. Not as bad, but he can't pull the forskin down as much. I'm trying to get him to try it but he said that it looks like it hurts when I have it on and I'm trying to reassure him that there is absolutely no pain.
Do like I did first though, take your time and research it for yourself.

May have to change my my name to something like 9inrestored or 9inuncutrestored. lol

archaeum,

After reading something you posted to another thread, I suggest you go to a doctor. I think you need a heavy-duty steroid creme such as betamethasone. Make it clear in advance what your attitude is about circumcision, such as, a last resort -or- not an option.

The device that 9incut mentioned is designed to lengthen a foreskin. Be aware that most of the F/R devices are specifically designed to avoid widening a foreskin. It may work for your purposes, though
