Who is taller? You or your parent(s)?

I believe that people are often taller than their parents than the other way around. However if you are shorter than your mother or father, what's your attitude about your height in relation to their's? What is your height and your parents?

My dad's exactly 6', my mom's a petite 5'1 (her mother was 4'9); I'm 5'6.

i suppose he means to ask gender based, so for men the reference is father, for women mother.

My dad's about 5'9" and so am I. My older brother is 5'8" and my mom's 5'3" or 5'4". I think the only reason why me and my brother aren't taller than my dad is because we have been on ADHD medicine since we were in 2nd grade and it has stunted our growth a couple inches.

My mother and grandmother were the same height as yours. I always thought my grandfather was tall, but that was because he was always in the pictures next to my tiny grandmother. My father is 5'10 and I am 6' and my sister is about 5'2. My niece is 5'2 and my nephew is only 13 but it looks like he will be at least 6' tall.

Dad was about 5"11", Mom was about 5"7". I'm 6'4"/5" or so. One of my sister's sons is about 6'7". Lots of tall cousins too, on my mother's side (male and female).
