Cookie Monster. I like Cookie Monster for his googly-eyed ness for Milanos and Chips Ahoy! I figured he would fiercely pimp-slap beyotches for raiding his cookie jar.

I gotta go with Ernie. He's such a likable and sweet guy, very giving, very faithful, and has little trouble admitting when he doesn't know something. He shares joy well too.

Another favorite of mine was Mr. Hooper but he's long gone now. He was always the kindly grandfather type and I liked him as he didn't seem out to teach you something like the other live characters were.

    Oscar and then Cookie Monster.

Any Brits see the resemblance between Oscar and Sir Alan Sugar?

It's a toss up between Grover (preferably Super Grover), Cookie Monster (preferably Alistair Cookie) or plain old Ernie.

Also an honorable mention for my man Guy Smiley.

I like 'em all, but my favs happen to Cookie Monster,(I love the way he bellows COOKIE!!!, then scarfs it down. BTW anybody notice sometimes he's omnivorous?) Big Bird, he always had that childlike innocence to him, and when Mr Hooper died, he was surprised.

And then good old Snufalufagus, he was so big and gentle, and very tacit for the longest time.

But I think my absolute fav was Sweetums; He looked big & scary, but deep down he was a really nice guy. Kinda like one of my old dogs.

Bert. He's friendly-when not having to deal with the idiocy of Ernie-and he has an adorable eyebrow.
