Cadbury's and Hershey's totally suck. You have to get fancy european or higher end American chocolates. Lindt is good, tho I think godiva is overrated. Boy, does all this sound GAAAAYYYYY! : )

Btw, for you 17 Cadbury lovers.... Hershey owns and operates Cadbury. ^_^

And while Hershey does wonderfully with chocolate if you ask me.. living right next to Hershey(So I'm biased).... Belgians do really do well in the chocolate department... but then again, my bias enters in this since I'm a big part Belgian. ::shrug::

I love See's! Whenever I am in a town where they have a shop I buy a pound or two! I'm amazed I don't weigh a pound or 100 more than I do sometimes!

See's has amazing peanut brittle too! I always pop into one of their shops to get a free sample. They are very generous with free samples. I love their dark chocolate turtles.

I love those Christmas cookies with the Hersey's Kiss stuck in the middle. That's about the only time I eat Hersey's outside of raiding the left over Halloween candy basket.

My mom is from Germany, and it's so funny, because her family loves for us to send them Hershey, while we think of euro chocolate light years ahead.

I think certain Godiva chocolates are the best I have had. Have had many from Ritter to Teuscher to Donnelly, and right now, Godiva dark truffles where I get them fresh in San Jose, are the best. My mom think so, too. She thinks See's Candies are just fine, but when she wants to indulge, Godiva is the way to go.

Oh, you mean she's from the Land of Chocolate?

Homer: Oh, I'm sorry. We were talking about chocolate?

Interviewer: That was ten minutes ago!

Kraft owns them actually.
Hershey just makes them under license in the States...and makes them crapper by substituting sugar for cocoa butter.

And no love for MARS?! Wot about Maltesers?

That is such a white trash recipe. I love it. I'm gonna make some right now.
