Who REALLY pays the taxes in America

Poor people don't pay taxes and many waste the benefits given to them.

Well considering as a percentage of population that are poor, and how much is spent on them as a whole, compared to other larger expenditures in the federal budget I'd say you hate the many (and I read that as most in your mind) that waste the govt benefits. And I read it as since they don't pay taxes they aren't worthy.

What are you talking bout? I have no clue. No where did I say I hate poor people but somehow thats what you read? wow you proved my point about frustration better than I.

My point is that the richest half of the country already pays 97% of the taxes. Obama wants to tax them even more but he won't be able to. Even the bottom 1/2 only pay 3 %, I guess he could perform magic and shift that to the richest 1/2 but it will be impossible.

Wow are you bitter? You are going to be even more bitter when you realize President Obama, who I think has all the fine attributes of being a good leader, still will not be able to do any of the economic things he wants to because of the structure of the economy. When you realize that you are REALLY going to be bitter.

Previous posting history, as to hating, disregarding, thinking less of those who don't pay tax, or as much tax as the richest. Oh well maybe I've read too much into what you say/said in other posts.

As for frustration, not really just tired of comments about the rich pay more. Rich pay more cuz they have more. Even under a flat tax system the richest would pay more. The richEST would always pay more because of math, unless using dodgy tax shelters and Swiss bank accounts.

Why would I be bitter? Right now my life is doing rather fine. I always take whatever a politician says with a lot of grains of salt. Afterall "if politician's lips are moving he's lying" is a nice little quote for most all politicians. Promise the moon, but really give green cheese.

Maybe Obama should become a real "socialist", as many like to throw around that term, and restructure the whole economy.:tongue:
