The member whose "wife found pics" has been in my thoughts because it made me ponder what we watch vs. what we might actually do. If my partner took the porn I have watched recently as a signal of desire to cheat, he'd be paranoid about bbw ladies and twinky guys-- neither of which I have any real life interest in pursuing. Porn to a large extent is for exploring the unknown, not just looking for material that parallels our real-life behavior and desires, seems like.

Accepting for the sake of argument the estimate that 1 man in 20 is gay in terms of predominant lifetime behavior, why is 1 porn film in 4 gay? Are "we" five times the porndog horndogs that "straight" guys are, or is the audience for male/male erotica broader than we think? Probably a bit of both. On the other side of the homo porn equation, I don't think anyone questions that the market for girl/girl is mostly straight men and not lesbians. Funny, but snoopy wives never worry about the homo rubbing off on hubby if they find girl/girl, or fear that he's going to sneak off hunting threesomes with lesbians. It's just accepted that most girl/girl porn is watched by an audience that will rarely or never actually witness or participate in any such activity. Reading some comments here along the lines of "gay porn gets me off but I don't think I want real mansex" strikes me as just another example of the same thing. Maybe a lot of the audience for male/male porn is just bi enough to enjoy the fantasy, but not enough to act it out?

Have heard anecdotally that straight women sometimes get off on gay porn, but have never heard a real woman say so in person, or even seen it here. Would very much welcome the comments of any predominantly straight man or woman who enjoys male/male porn. What about it is a turn-on? How does it push your buttons differently than straight porn? Where does it fit in the mix of your porn interests?

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was beginning to think this thread would sink with no reply. Being a porn fiend almost equally for straight and gay stuff, but entirely homo in practice, I can easily imagine the same mix of porn interests for a guy in the opposite situation. But in your case it does seem like a preliminary to acting out what you see in the homo fuck movies-- hope so! While it's not something I would only admit in the 'anonymous' world of the internet, I do watch some gay porn also.
