Dad was dandy BUT "Sandy Ricks", played by Luke Halpin, turned me on!
I think after the series ended in 1968, he (Luke) became involved doing undersea technical work for TV shows and movies.

BTW, did you know that "Flipper" was played by a female dolphin?

I just don't get this whole 'Daddy' thing - it must be an American cultural thing because the idea of calling a dominant male lover 'Daddy' just makes my skin creep... sorry - I'll fuck off now...

I am with you, sister! Even when I was just a princess, I never understood the whole "daddy" thing...

AH!! Right - I get it now!! Sorry - Ok, no don't start a new thread...

And seeing as I got your point so wrong I better answer the question, hadn't I - in a widely known program I have to say Mr.Ingles from Little House on the Prairie. I never wanted him to be my daddy - but if he'd picked me up and swung me round a bit I wouldn't have objected :biggrin1:

Which TV dad tripped your trigger when you were a little kid? I was 8 and I had a hugh crush on Brian Kelly --Ranger Rick from Flipper. I wanted to climb right in those square cut trunks of his.

My TV "little brother" was Little Joe from "Bonanza". In the early days of the series, he "dressed" down his left tight-fitting trouser leg. He made quite an "impression" with the TV audience. The late Michael Landon was Lirrle Joe.

I never watched Bonanza, but I caught a few minutes of a re-run several weeks ago, and was surprised to see how tight the pants were. They also showed off his butt really well.

    OMG GJorg...ME TOO!!!!

I had a HUGE crush on Ranger Rick! Not Sandy! He was too young!! I've always liked guys in their 30's or so and I was always cruising most of the Dads in the TV shows not the kids.

I also had a huge boner for Bill Bixby in "The Courtships of Eddie's Father" - he was SO handsome! Hey, whatever happened to that show!? I wanna see it again...they should put it on TVLand or something or even on DVD!

I had a crush on Tim Allen for like three seconds, but always had a soft spot for Jon Wesley Shipp aka Mr. Leary on Dawson's Creek.

There's another TV dad that I thought was super hot, but I can't really think of him right now. If this thread doesn't die relatively soon, I'll post it when it comes to mind.
