My thoughts on this question are the same as what I think when someone asks (with faux naivete) the women on this site whether size matters to them:

"Considering where you're asking the question, what the hell answer do you think you're going to get?"

Many, if not most, people on this site are obsessed with (their own) penises. Almost certainly more so than the average man is. So I'm not certain that males are as "into measuring" as you think.

But that's comparing apples and oranges. Women are obsessed with their breast size because they have to find the right bra size. Men don't measure their penis size for underwear purposes; they measure their hips for that. Breasts and penises; apples and oranges.

Granted, men on this site are more likely than others to be interested in their measurement. But just about all guys I have known have at some point put a ruler to their penis. Let me clarify. When I say "every guy I know," I am referring to "friends." I'm not talking about mere acquaintances. In the course of most male-male friendships at some point the discussion of size and measuring, etc., comes up. It doesn't "routinely" come up. But most guys I have known, (and by "known," I mean "most guys I've been friends with") have at some point measured themselves.

I'm not sure to be honest... however I could be curious about the size, just for the sake of being curious, not for any actual reason - but even then it would only be the size of a guy I was interested in really. My boyfriend, I just want to think about it, so maybe that's why I'd be sorta interested in the size!
