To be honest, I roll my eyes at those threads...
"What's the biggest dick you've had? ...will ever take? ... size that makes you orgasm?"
"Do you think I'm big?"
"My girlfriend said I was small <inserts pic of big dick>"
"My girlfriend complains I'm too big <insert pic of big dick>"
Granted, some of these are genuine concerns... but some seem to like to spew out their stats as they feel like it .... like, "oh, I'm 8x6.5, but I haven't tried shaving my dick to make it bigger!" Just making this up here... </end rant>
I think it's the competitive-egotistical nature of being men. Porn sensationalized big dicks. Of course, it seems embedded in guy's minds that you're a lesser or better lover if they have a smaller/bigger dick.
Because many men are insecure in what they have.
Many men believe that if they arent the biggest and the best, they are failures.
Many men are dumb in this regard.
Cause a bigger dick is generally viewed as better unless the girl is actually tight. Bigger dicks can go deeper, stretch you out more and generally provide more feeling due to the larger size.
So if we are the biggest you have ever had, that would lead us to believe that when it comes to our dicks we have a natural advantage compared to past partners when it comes to our capabilities.
Hence the curiosity. We want to be the best you've ever had. And it's hard to be the best if we don't have this advantage.

You're stereotyping.
And incidentally, asking male LPSG members "why (they are) obsessed with comparing" is like asking female LPSG members if they like big penises. You're surveying a group that is not necessarily representative of the general population, and your answers are not likely to be representative of the general population, either.
