Pretty understandable why there will be a fairly decent size market for things like this.

- Many men are so busy with their career lives that they don't have time or the opportunity to meet a woman that they may be interested in having a relationship with. This results in them totally giving up on ever finding someone.
- Many men have gone through rough divorces and are less than enthusiastic about getting back into the game.
- Paying for an escort/prostitute may be out of the question due to moral/emotional reasons or fear of the law, as this is illegal in many western nations.


Personally, I think the sex robot concept is kind of creepy in it's own kind of way.....but I really wouldn't see it as any different than using a fleshlight or any other type of sex toy.

I think you're confusing some things here. Mainly choice. If those men could be with a real woman they would be with a real woman. I would guess that many of their problems are problems you've had. Now this isn't talk about the guys with whom it is a fetish. Those guys specifically go that route because..it's a fetish but theres a difference between choosing to do something and having to do something because you have no other choice. I would imagine you're in the latter camp.

I'm guessing you're looking towards this because you can't get what you want from women. Problem is though that you haven't noticed that you aren't giving them or can't give them what they want. I agree with that last part but i don't see humanity screeching to a halt because of sex bots. The environment maybe but not sex bots. The most i can see happening is those who do will just start to disappear. As you said life is more than that. Without human interaction these guys would slowly die out. From one female's perspective, I don't want to be on the other end of attempts by guys like the OP. They would be happier with a robot. I'm perfectly happy for them to have robotic company and think that their 'companion' is superior to me. This really isn't the threat to the ego of the women here that the OP thinks it is. Well adjusted people will continue to attempt to connect with others, it's human nature - the others can enjoy their robots and stop spouting venom at everyone else. I think it's great.

I agree it's not healthy for the guy to want that, it's actually really sad, but IMO there are limited options for a man who revels in his misogyny and has no desire to change. The issue is bigger than having a sexbot, but personally, given that they have no intention of changing, I think it is far healthier for society that they direct their attentions to fake women rather than real ones. These guys are a minority, they're never going to have a real relationship, they don't like women, but they have a sex drive. Hell, I'd chip in to get them a robot.
