To be honest, this is so fucking dumb. A few white women prefer black men. A few black women prefer white men. Some white women fetishize asian men. Some black/white men fetishize asian women. What is seen as exotic is interesting. And it's a small minority fetishizing other "races". I get it. You WANT it to be true that black men are this or that because that's your fantasy or whatever. I don’t know I can only speculate . Black men look way different from non blacks so this increases the exotic factor plus the color black can come off as masculine to some women.

I wouldn't just write it off as a US fetish. I would say its quite a big fetish in the uk and parts of Europe as well or at least so it seems. Growing up in the islands its always been something to take note of that many women seem to enjoy coming to the islands for the sand, sea and "wood". Now this is just my opinion but I still do take note.
