Why does the law society prohibit sex between lawyers and their clients?

To prevent clients from being billed twice for essentially the same service

As a lawyer, just like a doctor or a professor, u r in an inherently dominant position over a client. That person ha problems, he may be weak, she may be vulnerable. This rule prevents the abuse of this position. Note that it doesn't apply if u r having sex before representation starts. And I have the option of discontinuing the representation if u wanna have sex.
