Why do black women on this site only like white guys?

Both are false. Now if you want to say a large amount of black men (more than the amount of black men in college) HAVE BEEN in jail, then you would be more correct. Were not all serving life sentences. To say there are more black men currently in jail than there are in college is completely false.

You don't want to be lumped into a group, but you think it's okay to lump all of us into a group. That's interesting.

At least the women who've responded to this thread have responded based on life experience. You are making wild assumptions. Of the six black women who've responded to this thread, only three have said they'd only date white men, two of us have married outside of our race but stated we did not exclusively date white men, and only one of us has posted an age. I have no idea regarding the other ladies' ages, but I'm in my twenties, and Rommette's in college!

Maybe you're the big black pot calling the kettle out for being black.

A woman (black, white, yellow, or whatever) should be able to have a preference about what they like without someone questioning it.

I will not go into what I prefer because I feel it's none of the OP's business. However, I would like to ask why does what we like matter to you??

the big black what? save your little riddles, don't care..........my first post should have been longer and more precise. i didn't like the pattern of responses i saw on this thread, so i thought it appropriate to write something, anything so that i wasn't just being mad with no outlet. All i'm seeing is black men this and black men that, one poster even said she there are more black men in jail than in college?! lol OH really....Man i just had to write something, if it doesn't meet your approval as a solid enough comeback i apologize

The pot calling the kettle black. It's an extremely cliché metaphor, not a riddle.

Additionally, perhaps you ought not be so reactionary. It just feeds into the stereotyping which made you angry in the first place. That you thought you needed to post a "comeback" rather than an intelligent, effective, and most of all non-hypocritical response speaks to your own level of maturity and self-esteem. Wouldn't you feel loads better if you could know that you were precisely the kind of man the women in question would desire if they didn't exclude black men, and just pity them for missing out? You're not doing anyone any favors, or effectively defending any positions by being a man-child.

There are other reasons that have given me the experience that I would not want to repeat that goes with dating a black man.

But don't worry, shaming language from little 20something who may end with a white girl of his own is not going to change the experience that I have had with black men and the reasons why I would like to avoid these situations in the future.

Didn't Principessa not too long ago post an article complaining about how not enough men (white or black) go for black women on internet dating sites, and that she felt more men "should" date black women just b/c they are black?

Why is it women can date any race they want, but men must have some sort of racial quota to satisfy, Principessa?

There is some truth to this. It's only with the black guys that I have dated that I've had to suffer insults of a sexual nature. The last black guy I dated told me that my hallway smelled like sex. I told him that day don't ever call me again. Two years later he comes around with his aw shucks attitude wondering if we can see each other again "as friends."

Even a (black) guy pal wondered why this guy couldn't just ask whether I was seeing other men.

There may be some good black men out there. But I don't attract them. As I said, I gert teased for looking, dancing and acting white. And I guess the black guys that can date a white girl would rather just have a real one. I only attract the black men that would like to have a white woman but can't have one. And it's obvious that they treat me like second best.

I'm from Monmouth County, NJ; we're . . . country elegance. :biggrin1: I went to school with the Hovnanians of K. Hovnanian and my first kiss was in kindergarden by the grandson of the lovely Italian man who founded this company. Wendy Williams and my mom are actually friends and ladys who lunch. They sat on the same charity fund raising committees for years! They still talk even though my folks are in GA now.

I think another thing is that I graduated high school 20+ years after you and I cant say anything about Monmouth County. I mean our circle is not just Essex its also parts of Union county and the Jack & Jill Factor and now that were in college more people are brought in etc etc. Just keeping whos got something going for themselves in life together. It's not a race thing. I personally seek out black women but it's definitely a cultural and economic issue. I think black men especially educated, successful/on the rise black men may have higher standards because they want to avoid ghetto women. And also have to be particularly wary about women who want to use them. And let's be fair.... Women use the victim card a lot while they're just as apt to screw men over and with the way society is set up are more likely to get away with it.

And with Rommette. From reading you posts. I think your issue is a. the men you choose and b. the way you carry yourself. Like with my friends and acquaintances you'd seem like the type of girl who everyone knew a lot of stories about and kinda be blacklisted (at least from me dating you).

On another note my current gf. I'm the first black guy she's dated. When I asked her about it her response was she just didnt see enough black men where she's from (Chicago) doing good and she saw the way her dad treated her mom before they divorced. As her dad used to hit her mom.
