If you’re unaware, he’s gone full-Trumper in the past several months and is now a regular guest on Tucker Carlson’s show. He’s also gone anti-vaxx and anti-mask, he’s pushing conspiracy theories, and he’s downplaying the Jan. 6th insurrection and the white nationalism problem in general. He also still won’t admit that Russia had a disinformation campaign to help Trump in the 2016 presidential election, yet he thinks Hunter Biden is a criminal and that it should have been disqualifying for Joe Biden, even though Hunter wasn’t on the ballot or a government employee like Trump made his kids.

Greenwald is someone who was considered a darling of progressives. TYT and other so-called progressive media outlets and journalists loved him and always defended him. How were they not able to see through him? Is it because he has always been anti-establishment, so they thought he must be on their side? A lot of progressives couldn’t tell Tulsi Gabbard was a fraud for the longest time, and I was able to see through her right away too.

Also, how can someone be such a narcissistic asshole when they’re so ugly? I’m guessing the stupid Pullitzer gave him such a big ego because it certainly can’t be his looks. He has a face only a mother could love. His Brazilian husband must be seriously desperate or messed up in the head in order to be with him because Glenn is ugly, narcissistic and cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

Greenwald said he and his family will be vaccinated, a decision he said he reached by researching on the “free and open” internet, including seeking out dissenting opinions.
“But if the internet were a place where no dissent were allowed, I would have way less confidence in that ability because that would mean this is a profession that isn’t confident enough to allow dissent, and if they’re not confident enough to allow dissent, I think that they earn much less trust and faith in their pronouncements,” he said.

^^Thanks for that clip Indy.

Please provide proof of this. Glenn Greenwald is a left leaning journalist who has been residing in Brasil for at least 15 years.
If you are unaware of Mr Greenwald's public positions on Donald Trump and 1/6, and the controversies surrounding Mr Greenwald and The Intercept, you haven't been paying attention.

I reiterate - per this forum's rules - links should be provided to validate one's assertions and encourage discussion. At times Greenwald has courted controversy. I may not agree with all of his viewpoints - but his Pulitzer Prize was well deserved. I've enjoyed his many guest appearances on Democracy Now - which kept me abreast of worldwide events.

Glenn Greenwald's warns against US civil liberties being curtailed due to concerns about domestic terrorism: Jan. 25, 2021 Excerpt:
Glenn Greenwald warns against media censorship amid concerns over domestic terrorism

Appearing on Hill.TV's "Rising" on Monday, Greenwald opined that the proposed legislative response to the deadly Capitol riot on Jan. 6 was not necessary as the legal infrastructure to combat it already existed in the U.S. Greenwald pointed to the response after the 9/11 terrorist attack where several laws expanded the definition of supporting terrorism. People, particularly Muslims, who disagreed on U.S. foreign policy and expressed support for people who resisted such policies often faced scrutiny and legal prosecution.

"You were prosecuted for materially supporting terrorist organizations. What this law does that Adam Schiff proposed is to simply take the existing war on terror law that is devoted to foreign terrorist groups, and just amend it to say, 'and domestic terror groups as well,' which means criminalizing all kinds of protests, associational and even speech activities."

Rep. Adam Schiff (R-Calif.), Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, in 2019 introduced legislation that reclassified certain domestic crimes as terrorism. The bill has so far remained stagnant in the House. Greenwald argued that since the actions at the Jan. 6 Capitol riot are already crimes according to U.S. law, designating them as domestic terrorism would actually be an action to "really regulate core political activity."

It’s not just your opinion. You’re objectively right. @dreamer20 is clearly one of those “progressives” who is easily conned by anyone who is anti-establishment. Tulsi Gabbard conned a lot of progressives in the same way Greenwald has.

Also, you realize private companies like Facebook have every right to censor, don’t you? Only the government can’t censor. Social media companies SHOULD be censoring dangerous anti-vaxx nonsense and other conspiracy theories. What happened on January 6th is largely the result of Facebook NOT censoring conspiracy theories and disinformation/misinformation.

I guess he needs to cling to something now that he can't carry Trump's water anymore. But yet folks on the far left defend this ass hole til they are blue in the face
He’s still trying to carry Trump’s water too. This is what he said in an interview with The Daily Caller:

“I would describe a lot of people on the right as being socialist. I would consider Steve Bannon to be socialist. I would consider the 2016 iteration of Donald Trump the candidate to be a socialist, based on what he was saying. I would consider Tucker Carlson to be a socialist.”

Yup. Greenwald has gone full Nazi/fascist. He is the perfect example of the Horseshoe theory that the far left and the far right have more in common they like to admit. Both are very anti-establishment and don’t believe in compromise if their lives depended on it.
