Why do gay guys always chime in on the "Asking Ladies ONLY" Threads?

Phobic deriving from the word phobia is the Latin word for fear. I do not fear gay people. I'm tired of gays creating drama where there is none. And being selfish little brats when you don't get your 'way'.

Be very careful of what you say or else we'll call the gay mafia and they'll redecorate your.......house.

arent all bananas bent? And she reckons its big! No pics we note.
For me i find it so irresistable not to comment when a straight guy asks for comments from 'ladies only'. I mean, come on, how can you seriously think you can control who looks at your pics. So i let them know i looked, and usually liked!

Phobic deriving from the word phobia is the Latin word for fear...

Thanks for the lesson. I was actually Prez of my Latin club. The word in use has a wider connotation that precisely describes your attitude...

First, the Latin word, actually is derived from the Greek word φόβος (fovos/phovos), meaning both "fear", and "something that causes flight". Interestingly, it's theorized that the modern Greek word φοβία (fovia/phovia), meaning "phobia", is actually a word borrowed from Latin, borrowed from the Greek root. GR-phovos > LT-phobia > GR-phovia

Now, on to the original question. For me, I typically look to the right, look at the "Latest Threads" and "Latest Posts" boxes, and from the title, dive into a response. It's usually about 1/2 way through, or even after posting, that I realize that it was in "Women's Issues", or was intended as a "women's only" thread, if I happened to miss the OP.

Although I have read threads for which the initiator has requested posts only from women, have refrained from making posts to those threads because I figured that it would be discourteous for men to post to them.

I bow to your scholarship, NB. It illustrates how words and their meanings go through transformations over time and across languages. However, what's relevant is not the root origin or derivation, but what the word means in present usage and how that attitude was expressed in Banana's post. Some definitions from the web:

homophobia - a range of negative attitudes and feelings towards homosexuality and people identified or perceived as being homosexual. Definitions refer variably to antipathy, contempt, prejudice, aversion, and irrational fear; a negative and contemptuous attitude to same-sex sexual relationships and to those who participate in them; prejudice against (fear or dislike of) homosexual people and homosexuality . . .

So there you have it. And last time I checked, posting homophobic content was against the ToS. Just sayin . . .

For me it depends entirely on the motives, intentions and attitudes of the OP. If someone's sincerely asking, "ladies, how do you like your clit stimulated?", it would be pointless and silly for me to weigh in, never having had a clit of my own, though I have stimulated a few. If however, a poster is so self-delusional that he says, "hey ladies, look at my hot cock and leave comments, ladies only, NO MEN!!!!!" - which happens all the time - it's just like throwing, well meat, in front of hungry lions.

Oh come on, the answer is perfectly clear...

MOST threads aimed at "women only" are only going to be answered by fake women because the rest of us have the sense to see it's nothing but a request for wank fodder. The gay guys come in to bump up the numbers with some more sensible twists on the OP and balance out the bollocks posted by the fakes.

It's almost like their our lovely protectors, keeping the less honourable straight guys away from us

Gay boys is just naturally more chivalrous and respectful of womens. Ironic, ain't it?

I've always been puzzled by this phenomenon. I can see no reason why gay boys wouldn't be chivalrous and respectful towards women, but seeing as how it would be in a heterosexual man's own best interest to be at least as chivalrous and respectful, I don't understand why they usually aren't.

Yeah weirdly though Gay men are often nice to women they're frequently not very nice to one another.

I've noticed that, too! I still don't get it, but obviously the possibility of a sexual encounter causes some people to become hostile. Makes no sense to me.

Regarding chiming in, I'm guilty of occasionally posting in the threads that are obviously directed at men only, since the question involves stuff about penises that I can't answer because I don't have one, or because it's seeking the opinions of men. I read them because I'm curious about the menfolk, both gay and straight and I post because I am curious and I have questions.

Familiarity breeds contempt. Perhaps?

You don't really think that we look at every woman as a potential fuck, do you?

I am fairly chivalrous, but then I also recognise that not all women are lovely.

On the rare times that I do interject my view into a "Ladies Only" thread, it's precisely for that reason.

What would you know about it, you fucking pansy truffle-nudger?
