People get the politicians they deserve. In a democracy, the time to make the case against lunacy is before the ballot. Those who did not even vote are as responsible for the outcome as the rest. The people have spoken. It is now time to learn to get along with one another until the next election. The world needs more peace, love and understanding.

As much as I agree with you, b.c., I think what Bulldog really wanted was an angry reaction from a "libtard"/"snowflake"/"SJW types". And he just got it. No offence.

Angry? Who's angry? I just told it like it IS.

This is how they (many, IF not most conservatives) think. As if to say that majority who DIDN'T vote for Trump should just get the fuck out.

A mindset synonymous to when Trump said that black AMERICANS who don't think black lives matter should go "BACK" to Africa. "Back," as if we never "belonged" in the first place.

The implications of that kind of though process SHOULD be infuriating. But only to people who expect better of that sort in the first place. I don't.

So, indignation? PERHAPS. Anger? Not as much.

No, a horse didn't kick him in the head.

Fact is, the question is reflective of the mentality of many of them... a kind of privileged presumption that they (i.e. "real Americans") have greater ownership and more right to be here than those 73.6 MILLION voters, who voted for a different path for our country, do. Trump DIDN'T WIN the popular vote. And that's not counting the estimated 90 million who didn't bother.

One can just as well ask why didn't CONSERVATIVES just fkng leave when Obama won? They DIDN'T. Yes, they signed a bunch of bullshit petitions for secession but... "promises promises."

No, instead they stuck around and and bitched, and moaned every step of the way.

So I think those 73.6 million voters who chose someone OTHER than Trump have JUST as much a right to do the SAME.

I don't mean to suggest your reaction was not warranted. I just feel like he was baiting for an easy argument.

Like you say, his title for the thread might as well be 'Why don't liberals fuck off and live somewhere else'. I answered a bit more literally whereas you objected to the question. Quite rightly.

Is LPSG being inundated by an out-of-control assembly line mass-producing the same programmed pro-Trump troll with different names? Holy KellyAnne! They are in and out faster than Mrs. Conway can invent alternative facts.

Tripod suggested giving them a cookie.

Here's your cookie!

Thanks for making me laugh. Good job. Everyone should try more wag - less bite!

Yes, we are in agreement that reaction and response is warranted.

The difference between our responses being that you afforded the question more respect than what I would allow it. And that, no doubt, because of my greater proximity (for want of a better word) to the issue, as a moderately liberal black American.

I think it's fairly safe to say that, for every one person who, like the op, asks this kind of question in all seriousness, there are probably MILLIONS more, just like him, who are thinking exactly the same.

So that when such thoughts are expressed in writing, written in titles, and posted in forums, an examination of the mentality, the mindset, and the IDEOLOGY behind such notions is valid and just as warranted as responses that treat the question as something based upon normal, rational thought.

You think there are millions of people in the US who think all liberals should go and live in another country? I'm not saying you're wrong but I really hope you are.

Maybe I'm naive or misguided but I think the vast vast majority of people's opinions lie somewhere in between the right and left, and a huge proportion of people have nil interest in anything vaguely political.

Surely only mad people can seriously think liberals should leave the country because they don't agree with Trump. It's insanity.

It's far more than Trump. Trump represents something very very wrong out there across the land. That millions and millions were able to be duped by such a man with obvious grave mental issues let alone being incapable of being morally offended, or of putting virtue above partisanship.. The American experiment suddenly shudders, collapses in on itself, falls to a fast and heartless ruin.

Hillary Clinton would beat Donald Trump in every country polled except Russia, poll finds
Almost every country had Hillary Clinton winning by a landslide

^ How can that be? Oh it be alright. A country incapable of introspection, incapable of wondering why it has no friends (opps other than Putin's Russia).

I often hear: If blacks keep bitching and playing the race card, they need to go back to Africa!

My answer: Well, if German-Americans don't like the US, they can go back to Germany. LOL.

^ So childish!

Black Americans are just as intertwined into the American identity as any white person/culture.

And now we hear about Chicago's crime problem day in and day out from big, fat white racist pigs (as if all black people live in Chicago LOL). A lot of conservative whites get off on knowing how high inner city black crime is. It makes them feel "superior." They have no solutions to the problem and exude an air of moral superiority. If that isn't racism, I really don't know what racism means.

America is a land of all colors, races and creeds. Somehow we just got a little sidetracked off the Yellow Brick Road of Democratic Equality. I don't know how we're going to get back on it.

It's quite upsetting when you put it like that.

It's pretty depressing when you put it like that. But it's true.

Are the cookies pink, or is that an alternative fact? I need to call Sean Spicer. They seem pink. The Opposition says they're pink. Sean Spicer went to fact-check "alternatively."

Spicer's back: He says pink cookies are probably Orange Crush-colored like Dwump's hair. Okay.

Faux News Alert on Fox:

Conway declares at 8:06 pm: The cookies are "alternatively" orange.

We were wrong:
Pink cookies are not pink cookies, even if they look as pink as pink bubble gum.

Fact-checking is super hard now: a fact might not be a fact, even when it's proven.

Amen. People need to start seeing another human instead of a different colour.
