I understand that big dicks are perceived as desirable, but why would you purposefully lie about your size? Not only just lie, but post measuring pics as "proof" using angles/tools that clearly show you giving yourself at least an extra inch that's not really there.
What do you gain from this? Is it strictly an ego thing where you sorely need to delude yourself into believing you're more well-endowed than you actually are? Are you trying to attract more hookups? If the latter, how does it feel when your hookup calls you out on the false advertisement?
I ask because I'm genuinely curious. I have always wished I was bigger, but have never felt the desire to claim extra inches that I don't have. In fact, I briefly dated a guy years ago who firmly insisted I was at least 8 inches, though I never claim more than 6. He was at least an inch shorter than me, maybe 2. I insisted I was 6, but he also insisted he was 6. Clearly one of our rulers was lying, and I'm 100% certain it wasn't mine. We were only together for about a month due to reasons completely unrelated to penis size, so I never pressed him on the subject. I was also much more timid about such topics at the time.
Curious to hear your thoughts.
