Why do older men become bi-curious

In so many ways, you start to realize that time is running out and yet curiosity, killed the cat eventually anyway. Luckily times it also changed and you realize that no one really cares nearly as much as you thought they did about who you love or play with and finally you also just don’t give a shit anymore and need to know and feel. :)

Army guys I’ve always wondered what happens with you guys because you’re away for months at a time together
I was in the military. Some people will tell you that nothing ever goes on, then there are others like myself who knows that lots of stuff went on. People generally don't talk about it. All you need is a few beers and then a safe place with no likelihood of being found out and the rest is history.

To be honest, if the dick fairy came to my house... It would be perfect if my wife could grow one on command. Pegging is fine and all... But to have that feedback loop of a living throbbing cock is what would make it for me.
To be perfectly honest, I don't think a woman would know how to drive one.

Just using logic that's exactly imagine it to be it's no different everyday. Theres what people say and then what really happens behind closed doors. In general theres so much people dont say and in an environment like the army I can imagine hooking up with a guy its literally like nothing ever happened

I do wanna ask while sex with men is easy. Would anyone actually want to be in a relationship with another man. That the biggest question
if you're asking whether straight men are married to a woman for, say, 20 years and then act on being bisexual in their 40s and end up in a relationship with another man, yes, that happens. I personally know several.

i disagree with that lol.

you dont just get bi over time. either you have had these feelings before or u never will.

the notion that straight men just suddenly turn bi is ridiculous ha.

I agree, there had to be some interest all along or a development at some point to have same sex interests. I think thats what Burghf_er might have been meaning, it just did not get acted on until later in life for various reasons.
Being in a sexless marriage drives men to try things they didn't think they would ever do.
Not speaking from experience, only what I've heard from others.

This is a BIG reason... At least from what I see online. I find that when the wife and I are not having sex for a period, my bi side raises its curious head a bit higher.

I think most (not all) bi men end up in relationships with women due to societal pressures. Theres gay men that even say they wish they were straight because it would make life easier. So bi men that actually have an attraction to women I think some just go down the route of having a relationship with women instead of men because its easier

From my experience with married "straight" men, sexless marriage is often the key driver for them to explore the ignored/suppressed/forgotten/whatever curiosity of male-to-male actions. (Yes, I love making straight guys stray...)

Someone I met through craigslist put it: "I used to pay a whore from time to time, but I don't have much money to spend. It's way better to have another guy who knows how to make a cock feels great to work my junk than to jerk off to porns."

I mean, who wants to eat McDonald's when you have a great cook at home? But then when there's no food at home and you go really hungry, the quick food at McDonald's starts getting enticing... :joy:

I have to agree. I lived near a military post when I was in Hawaii. I sucked a lot of military cock back then. Those boys were horny and just wanted to get off. Perfect arrangement for me.

I am a Mid-fifties mwm and, over the last few years, I have become more and more bi-curious. In email exchanges with other men around my age, I have found that well over half of them are experiencing the same thing Is this a common phenomenon.

Perhaps it’s the appeal of the forbidden fruit. That being a tasty Cock.
Is it a statement or a question? If it's a question, I challenge the premise that "older men become bi-curious" and subscribe the very notion of it to wishful thinking. If it's a statement, then back it up with something more than the personal experience you claim.

I was in the military too. It was where I eventually entered the bi world officially though I had serious tendencies prior to that. Just never acted on them until I was in.

But once I crossed that line, a whole new world opened up to me and it included horny sailors who need a willing mouth!

I think times of war (WWII and Vietnam) opened up a lot of opportunities for sexual exploration considering these were young men drafted. Their hormones are raging at that age and they are away from their girlfriends and wives but the need for sex is still there for them. You put a bunch of horny young guys together without female options around and anything could happen. It doesn't always equate to them being homosexual or bisexual because according to literature I've read men did what they needed to do to keep their sanity and make the days pass. Once the wars were over they most often returned to their female companions and lived their lives as heterosexuals in most cases. It's kind of the same for men who serve long stints in prison. They can transform their reality for the sake of quick pleasure. One book in particular (The Gay Metropolis by Charles Kaiser)is very descriptive of the different eras and how homosexuality was acted upon and how it was handled within society. It explains a lot about some of the beliefs that once existed and why so many men were and are still closeted.
