Why do people hate on the missionary position?

For me, it's the best position and most intimate among other reasons.

But when people describe boring sex, they say describe sex with only missionary but with my experience missionary is the most exciting sometimes.

When my and my partner fuck, we do it in every position possible but they climax the most with various variations of strokes while in missionary.

Do some guys do missionary wrong or something? Why is it considered boring?

It's not considered boring, just the standard, the default. So default things tend to carry this reputation. We all want to try different things. So what is boring if you one only does missionary.

I like it the best, both with a woman and with a man. It feels more intimate and caring for me (as opposed to doggie style, which seems rather degrading to me). It's definitely not the only position for me, but it is my favorite.

Like others have said - I've always found it to be one of the more intimate positions. Sure - other positions might give you better control or different sensations, but missionary reinforces the connection you have with the person you are having sex with.

I like the intimacy of the missionary position, but I also like to do other things as well. The people I've heard call it boring seem to have issues with doing anything else. Anything can get boring after a while if that is all you do.

My generation dissed it because of the religious requirement that sex only happen in the missionary position. It was seen as a way of repressing sexuality by keeping women from reaching climax. Man on top, never the woman.
