Most guys lie by exaggerating their size but there are just throw a number out there that they think they are. I've been with guys that are much bigger than what they claim to be and it's because they've never literally measured but try to guess the size. It's best to just take everything said on apps and sites like this with a grain of salt. Is it disappointing when people lie? Yes it is very upsetting sometimes but people will do as they feel necessary to get laid.

If you're specifically referring to lying about penis size, it's just an extension of a larger internet mindset when it comes to describing oneself. People on the internet will often lie about everything in their lives, because, perhaps, they are not completely satisfied with what they have. They'll exaggerate their looks, their wealth, their connections, etc, knowing that they'll never actually meet the people they're chatting with online, and it will never be verified. It gives them a place to be the person they wish they could be. Penis size is just one "small" topic of a larger trend.

Cause a lot of them are idiots. They lack the confidence in themselves to be secure and happy with the dick they've got.
Sort of like some guys compensate with big toys to make up for what they lack in the dick department. Me, I drive a Honda Accord coupe for several reasons, mainly I don't like big cars. Typically I'm 7" but I can be more or less it just depends. I never discuss the size of my dick with ladies. I suppose some guys do.
It's only part of what makes me, me. I've never had any complaints and have no desire to discuss the size or lack thereof of my manhood with women or other guys. The most I'll say is I've got a fat boy.
