Sorry Rubi,... But what if makes the sexual contact gay is the gender of the person getting you off... then getting yourself off is gay.

You can't apply that standard and not get that result.

I just find the subject to be ridiculous. If you enjoy any form of sexual interaction with both sexes then you are simply bisexual. Why is that so hard for so many to admit to themselves? I completely reject this foolishness of "the straight guy getting head from a gay guy". Ridiculous. If it challenges your masculine identity then stop having sex with men. If it's something you're embarrassed about then stop having sex with men. If it's something you feel guilt about the next day (or hour even) then stop having sex with men. Once you stop having sex with men, and have sex only with women, then you can call yourself a true blue, red-blooded, breeder boy. But until then, deal with it, and call a spade a spade. You're bi.

The problem is that view necessitates sexual implications that are clearly erroneous.

If your views are correct, then all the straight men who do gay for pay porn are, in fact, not straight and every gay man who at one time or another had any form of sexual encounter with a woman (and enjoyed it in any way) are not gay. That's absurd.

One's sexuality is not defined by one's acts. It is defined by one's desires, though one's acts can be evidence of one's desires.

Lastly, why do people really care? In fact, I find it rather controlling and possibly oppressive. Why do people feel it necessary to determine for other people what their "genuine" sexuality is. I thought that the sexual revolution enabled people to determine that for themselves.

..that if a guy gives them a blow job then they aren't gay. Sorry..but if a man alows another man to blow them then that is considered gay sex.

Disagree.

I think there is a certain amount of experimentation that can be allowed.

However, I suppose the question is... why must one label themselves? Can people not be curious human beings, interested in trying different things? What if one person gets a blowjob from a guy when he's 20 and then sleeps with women and marries one for 65 years? Is he gay?

I think there is some openmindedness in these situations. It's best when it's a case by case scenario.

But it is called oral SEX. It's still sex. Just because a man doesn't take it up theass or takes another man up the ass doesn't mean that letting a guy suck him isn't gay.

Well, technically, it's a SEXUAL act being performed on you. Close your eyes and it could be a girl or a boy.

However, I agree with you on the idea that anal sex can be considered different. Again, I'm just going with the idea that things should be measured on a case by case basis. Just because you get a blow job from a guy once because you were curious about it, or they offered, doesn't mean that you are gay. It means you got a bj from a guy.

Sorry cochranfan... I'm just not a fan of labels. I learned a long time ago that they are unrequired and limiting to a person. Sorry buddy.

Agreed.

Let me use a similar example but with gay men.

Tons of gay men started out their sexual lives having sex with women. Most of them acheived orgasm doing it too. If sexual orientation was determined by sexual acts, then all those gay men in this example would be bi.

HockeyTiger-

I have seen you submit some very interesting posts, and I find myself agreeing with your views most of the time. However I do not agree with you completely on this subject.

"Straight men who do gay porn for pay"? Frankly I do not accept that any such critter exists. If they are doing gay porn they are at least to be considered bisexual. I would also contend that any man who has desired and enjoyed sex with a female is not gay. It seems quite elementary to me.

As for being "controlling and opressive"? I assure you that I have no desire to label anyone. Absolutely not. Why do I even care about this thread? Because there are men who have sex with other men, but feel the need to continually beat their chest and adamently proclaim their "straightness". I find that to be very irritating. They feel the need to distinguish themselves from a man such as I who will readily say "Yep. I enjoy both!". I have always felt that this is their way of saying that they are more of a man than I. Nonsense.

I would love to see the day when all of this nonsense is irrelevent.

ANY guy doing ANYTHING with another man is HOMOSEXUAL. any kind of touching, kissing ANYTHING like that is GAY plain and simple. As seinfeld said "not that theirs anything wrong with that" But its GAY. No 100% STRAIGHT male will tell you that kissing or whatever is NOT gay because it is. No 100% STRAIGHT male would do ANYTHING like that with another male. those so called "straight" porno dudes doing gay porn for cash are fucking liars saying their 100% straight. Completely full of shit. They are bisexual. I have no problem with what someone wants to do sexually, personally its none of my business however lets at least make this cut and dry. any male doing ANYTHING sexual with another male (kissing, touching etc) is either bisexual or gay. NOT 100% straight
