And so the frivolous lawsuits get thrown out of court or even better WON by Judicial Watch's opposition and maybe when Judicial Watch has to pay for Clinton's defense against their "lawsuits", they will stop their frivolous lawsuits. If Clinton wants to make them stop, her legal team would destroy them in court... that has yet to happen.

You would make better use of your time asking the question of, "Why doesn't Clinton's legal team(s) mount a more robust and effective defense against Judicial Watch"?

I absolutely would believe that they timed the release of the tape so that it would generate extra attention / ratings / damage. I don't know if that's the case or not, but it's eminently believable.

The timing of their release of the tape does not, however, absolve Donald Trump from any of the statements he made on it.

A proper apology could've absolved him, but he failed to make one. Instead, he combined a shit apology along with more current statements and actions that also make him appear misogynist.
