From her torn PCL, to her reconstructive shoulder surgery, and numerous black eyes. My goal keeper daughter , who is now coaching, will tell you our family are soccer fans. We have traveled further to a soccer game than we would to watch any other sport.

As a lifelong Saints fan, I'd like to thank you and the entire city of San Diego for letting Drew Brees leave town. :fing02:

He had just had elbow surgery, so I don't know that I regret letting him leave town. Rivers is an absolute stud. In any case, New Orleans should be happy they have any NFL team- it'll be leaving soon anyway. :booty:

I would've thoroughly enjoyed watching my Bolts destroy the Saints in the Super Bowl. Too bad Nate Kaeding had to miss 3 FGs in a row :frown1:

I saw this advertised on Fox Soccer Channel for the first time over the weekend:

from epltalk.com:

" FOX Broadcasting Company (NASDAQ:NWS), the national broadcasting network, will televise the first ever Premier League match on free-to-air television in the United States on Sunday, February 5, 2012, according to a source. The clash between Chelsea and Manchester United will be shown live on Super Bowl Sunday beginning at 10:30am ET."

Great exposure from the English Game here in states! I have always thought the Sunday 11am EST time slot would be great for US markets as it does not compete w/NCAA or NFL football.

I believe Fox will also be showing the Arsenal vs Manchester Utd fixture on Sunday Jan 22nd as well but have not seen that confirmed.
