Why doesn't God heal amputees?

God seems awfully selective in whom He chooses to heal.

God seems to heal many people of cancer without any prayers but, no matter how much one prays, he never heals amputees.

Why can't God replace even a pinkie? Why does God 'remove' a tumor but not replace a bad kidney?

You'd better pray to God that you don't end up losing an eye, because... well... shoot.

Since you can afford to donate $$$ to lpsg.org, I ' m positive that any and all sectarian religious organizations will be willing to discuss your concerns; especially AFTER they see $$$

I dunno Fuzzy, was the particular 'God' in question responsible for the amputating?

Hmmm. It would seem so?

It also seems as if "just because" is an acceptable answer to why God chooses to help some people and not others who might seem more deserving.

Fuzzy isn't trying to debate whether or not God exists. Fuzzy is just wondering why there is this cruel exemption for amputees.

Must be that God doesn't want to make it that easy for us to believe that He exists and is doing superhuman things. He apparently is pretty coy and just expects us to just give ourselves over to blind faith.

Now there's true virtue!

I'm told that He works in "mysterious ways".

Too many gods. They all assume the other one is taking care of the job on their behalf.

That's all I got.

I think this ^^^ pretty much sums it up..... maybe they should all get together and form a God 'think tank' to ensure all bases are covered.

On another point, it still upsets me that out of all the Gods currently worshipped, not one is a woman!

I know sects that treat god as a "parent" rather than as a male "Father".

I haven't met any type I diabetics (juvenile) that were healed by God either.

You are confused. People heal from amputations, they just don't regrow the missing limb.

Or he (or she) doesn't want to. He/she's really a sadist.

I think that's what Fuzzy means. If God can somehow magically cure cancer then God must be able to regrow limbs right?

Pretty simple, there's no god. Human made this up, like we made up medicine that actually heals people, and prostetics that can help people walk again by themselves even with one or no legs.
