But really...by "pretending to be straight" do you mean that:

Is a gay man who is masculine and has facial hair only doing so to attract straight man?

The answer to that question is NO; the majority of us do NOT maintain our masculinity to hook up with so called "straight" guys. About the facial hair. Even though I'm not straight, I just want to comment that I find the faint tickle of facial hair when getting head feels pretty damn good. Really, I've had some facial hair, and I've had none, when I've given oral to someone. Heck, I've even alternated having it with the same person on different occasions. I've never really heard anything from either spectrum.
