Why have you had a good life...or why not?

I have had a good life so far. I'm not at a great place right now, but I have much to be thankful for.

I have had a great life because:

I am blessed to have grown up in the greatest country in the world (IMHO).

I have two arms, two legs, sight and hearing.

I am able to provide for myself.

I have always had loving and supportive parents.

I've never gone hungry or been homeless.

Compared to people living in Communist Cuba, or Darfur or war-torn Iraq, I have lived like a King.

I am fortunate because I live in Canada.

I have an amazing daughter.

I have a loving husband.

I have a loving boyfriend.

I have wonderful friends.

I am healthy.

My family is healthy.

I have a nice roof over my head and food in the fridge.

My husband and I have jobs.
