I've seen that article before. Not sure that it really qualifies as a scholarly tome. :wink:

Has a number of "references" that I haven't run to ground, but generally makes a lot of bare assertions.

It does note that the "plusses" sociopaths bring to a military regiment, coincide with "negatives".

In any event, the fact that a sociopath makes a more effective killer = not news. Does that translate into a "better" military? I remain thoroughly unconvinced.

We could go 'round and 'round on this ad nauseum, I'm sure.

You may, I am not. Sociopaths make better killers. This is a benefit in the dirty business of war when you have to kill people.

So, as I said a long time ago now, is it good, is it bad? Not bad when you need it. Is it bad to need it? Of course not, all our wars are noble and justified. :rolleyes:
