My obsession with circumcision is that it's genital mutilation inflicted on hundreds of millions of babies with no medical necessity. It needs to stop.

The tactics of intactivists are perfectly described by that pasted article.
In fairness, when they started, the tidal wave of pro-circ propaganda was a tall order to battle, so the intactivists needed to attack it with bnuclear rethoric. But today, the pro-circ side iisn't a tital wave, it is merely riding on mome tum, so all it needs is a few slingshots but the intactivists are still going on full-on with their exagerated propaganda. And that is what makes intelligent debates hard.

Like abortion if you don't like it don't have one. Your values are your own. I won't waste one second worrying about the penises of a baby that is not mine. You shouldn't either. It's rather obscene actually.
If the foreskin 'works' and can be pulled back its fine and should be left natural .
When the penis is erect the foreskin should retract on its own .

No, it isn't. Why should we trust anything you say about foreskins if you can't even be honest enough to answer a simple question about whether you have one yourself? Other people are being straightforward about it. You are not.
I DO have a foreskin , it pulls right back to reveal a very sensitive glans - i would hate to have a unprotected, nerve damaged dong with scar tissue

Female and male circumcision are totally different and done for totally different reasons. It’s funny how the anti circumcision people always compare the two. FYI in female circumcision they remove the clit not the hood and they do it as a way to control the female.
There are many forms of female circ. Stop talking. This isn’t a contest, it’s a bodily rights issue.
Regardless, you can’t excise a clitoral hood legally either.
