Amazing. A Fox News ‘personality’ cheerfully thumbs-upping - ON AIR - the idea of a Russia-backed assassination of the sitting president.

Bet he’ll get a promotion instead of charged with fucking treason.

And it’s the Left who are extremists…

Of COURSE they will. Meanwhile, Trump, the same mfkr who invited Russia to hack American servers and who stood next to Putin while disavowing his own intelligence community, just reportedly said he TRUSTS Russia more than the U.S. while his crony cowards continue to defend and dismiss an attack upon our nation's Capitol.

Republicans ALWAYS get away with far worse s--------- than the kind of stuff Democrats apologize for.

How Does The GOP Get Away With It?

The modern day Republican Party is an extreme and authoritarian party unlike any other conservative party in the 1st world democracies. The GOP is the only major conservative party in the world that rejects universal health coverage, the science behind climate change, marriage equality and gun safety reform.

They have become an insurgent outlier in American politics.... ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by conventional understanding of facts, evidence, and science: and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition.”

The GOP no longer believes in the peaceful transfer of power and free elections. The GOP knows that it needs to rig the political system so it can never lose because its platform is unpopular and toxic.

HE EXPECTED THEM TO BE MORE THAN WHAT THEY WERE:

Barack Obama on GOP's war against democracy: "Unrecognizable and unacceptable even five years ago" | Salon.com

Former President Barack Obama said in an interview with CNN Monday that the Republican Party's positions have become "unrecognizable and unacceptable" since he left office.

Obama said he was surprised that the "dark spirits" that rose during his time in office like "xenophobia, anti-intellectualism, paranoid conspiracy theories, [and] an antipathy toward Black and brown folks," have taken over the Republican Party.

"I thought that there were enough guardrails institutionally that even after Trump was elected that you would have the so-called Republican establishment who would say, 'Ok, you know, it's a problem if the White House ... doesn't seem to be concerned about Russian meddling,' or 'It's a problem if we have a -resident who's saying that ... Neo-Nazis marching in Charlottesville, there's good people on both sides,'" Obama told CNN's Anderson Cooper.

The first Black president in U.S. history went on to admit that he was surprised that the Republican Party was "cowed into accepting" it.

Florida’s governor has signed legislation that will require public colleges and universities to annually survey their students and staff about their beliefs and viewpoints in order to support “intellectual diversity,” while hinting that the schools could face financial penalties depending on the survey results.”

This new law, which goes into effect on July 1, follows DeSantis earlier this month banning K-12 public schools from featuring specific lessons and discussions related to racism….”

Can you say Republican totalitarianism, children?

About par for the COURSE... in TRUMP'S FASCIST AMERICA. And this is what they're pulling after having been nationally repudiated by VOTE OF THE PEOPLE.

So can you just imagine what kind of shit they'd be pulling by now if 80 million voters HADN'T shown up to toss that fkr out of office??

House investigation underway for possible shadow operation within Trump-era DOJ - Raw Story

House Democrats have launched an investigative probe to determine whether or not Donald Trump's Department of Justice (DOJ) participated in a shadow operation to target political opponents.

Leading the investigation, Jerry Nadler chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, has a focal point for the investigation that centers on "the apparent violation of internal policies by the justice department when it issued subpoenas against Democrats Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell in 2018," according to The Guardian.

However, they did not stop there. Details about their investigation, DOJ officials reveal they also obtained personal information for individuals closely related to House intelligence committee. From staff members to family members, the DOJ allegedly went to arduous lengths to target certain Democratic lawmakers.

Who needs laws? Who needs a Constitution?
We’re Republicans. None of that applies to us.
Democracy—no, autocracy—yes.
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem is using “a private donation” to pay for her deployment of state National Guard troops to Texas, in essence turning them into a mercenary force against migrants at the southern border.

It’s unclear under what legal authority Noem, a possible 2024 Republican presidential candidate, is accepting the money or whether she has the authority to send National Guard troops to another state for this purpose.

Legal experts wondered whether her actions are lawful. “It is exceedingly odd that the deployment of the National Guard would be paid for by a ‘private donation,’” said J. Michael Luttig, a retired federal appellate court judge. “In many contexts, absent statutory authorization of such, this would be an illegal supplementation of a federally budgeted activity.”

Caitlyn Jenner suggests moving homeless to ‘big open fields’

LOS ANGELES (INSIDE CALIFORNIA POLITICS) – Gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner is voicing her concerns about California’s homeless crisis.

In an exclusive interview with Inside California Politics, Jenner talked about a recent visit she made to Venice Beach in Southern California.

A popular tourist area, the beach has become inundated with homeless encampments that have proliferated along the popular boardwalk and in surrounding neighborhoods.
“Venice Beach is destroyed,” Jenner said. “They’re destroying Venice Beach. They are destroying all the businesses out there…”

Earlier this month, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homeless Outreach Services Team was sent to the area with a goal of clearing the beach of all homeless encampments by July 4.

The homeless population there is estimated at more than 60,000, according to The Associated Press.

“We can’t have that in our streets. We have to clean that up. We have to provide some place for those people to go, whether it’s an open field out in some place… or if you notice at the veteran’s facility.. there’s these big open fields and a lot of places there,” Jenner said.

“They don’t need to be there. The crime rate is going up… it’s mostly homeless-on-homeless murders. We can’t have that on our streets,” Jenner added.

“So people can go enjoy our wonderful Southern California.”

Yes. Let's concentrate the homeless and undesirable. Perhaps into camps? Where they can work to earn their freedom? Arbeit Macht Frei?

Fucking rich white people...

If Jenner gave up ONE of her extra houses, or half her car fleet, or her private plane - all things no one needs OR deserves - she could HELP those homeless people. But no...she earned that money fair and square through the hard work of being married to Keis Jenner when Kris decided to profit off of the infamy of her daughter releasing a sex tape and got a reality TV empire for it! How DARE anyone suggest Caitlin - or anyone else in the top tax brackets - give some of that wealth back to the community around her, to better the lot in life of the most downtrodden. Helping the homeless get homes and help to deal with the root cause of WHY they are homeless is the BEST way to 'not have to see' them.

And she calls herself a follower of Christ. *shakes head* Cait, honey...Jesus doesn't care if you're trans. He cares that you're a selfish, greedy asshole and that you do so in His name...
