The GOP is the party of haters, war-mongers, corporate/Fascist lap-boys. If any of the dumbasses in that party had done what Obama has done they would have erected a monument to him already -- or called him "Reagan II."
The good thing is that the American people are seeing through the GOP-dog-shit.
Oh yeah -- there is no such thing as "liberal media." If there was, there would not be a Congress full of Republicans. Ever. The conservatives (and anyone else that clings to such) do themselves a disfavor because anyone with half a brain or sense of logic understands my statement above.
And finally -- people confuse talking heads with "news." Conservative or Progressive -- Rachel Maddow to Megyn Kelly -- THOSE FOLKS ARE NOT NEWS PERSONS. THEY ARE TALKING HEADS. WITH OPINIONS.

His very bad and cheap looking suits were the first thing I noticed about that dude. Straight off the rack from "Ross Dress for Less" in Miami. Almost as bad as Rand Paul's brown Hush Puppies.

I've been wondering when someone would call out Marco for being a programmable talking head. No love for Jersey Fats, but good on him.
And I bet his suit -- like Donald's -- was made in Mexico.

There are three types of people: the moochers, who live off the work of others, firmly believing that "You work, I eat" is a good way to live.

I'm interested in these people. We know a certain party likes to characterize everyone not making seven figures as takers. Who are these people? Yes every society has certain population that would not rather work at all but what is the actual percentage and given welfare reform you are not going to collect much without actually having to find a job. Public assistance isn't long term. And it's pennies in reality of the budget. Pennies compared to the tax cut giveaways to the real money.

Oh yeah -- there is no such thing as "liberal media." If there was, there would not be a Congress full of Republicans. Ever.

And yeah please show me the 'liberal media' that somehow missed their duties and let the Republicans take over the House, the Senate and a large majority of state legislatures and until 2008 the White House too. The liberal media that still lets Republican politicians lie lie lie about the true effects of their assault on the middle class and the poor. They are given carte blanche to still preach zombie ideas about tax cuts, education, spending on infrastructure, and a host of other proven policy failures. That liberal media?

Exactly. The GOP is represented by a bunch of toddlers. If they don't get their way they scream "The liberal media" (did this or that.) They sound like they have brain damage.
However, it's equally scary that progressive candidates don't call them out of the nonsense using the very logic we are discussing here.

Which is EXACTLY why when the GOP and there wealthy 2% speak of "trickle down," they REALLY mean P*****ING on everyone ELSE.

Yup, everyone else without the chance to have been as wealthy and in the right places with the right connections. And any attempt to help others get to that spot usually consists of "everybody wants a handout!" even though ya hear none of that when they talk about tax breaks for corporations to stay in a country they originated from an so called have fondness for. Yeah american pride and having to be paid to keep helping out americans isn't the same thing.

Which makes me wonder how many business majors of this generation could and would gladly fill their shoes. I mean everyone talks about how awesome competition is. Free market this and fair that. How's about giving the next group of businessmen and women a chance. :p

All this uncritical bashing of the GOP shows a serious lack of looking at the facts - that's dangerous.

You're wrong. In the 2014 election nearly 1000 positions across the country in state houses, governorships, congress, Democrats were replaced by Republicans. Why? Because the electorate saw through the BS, lies, and incompetence of Democrat run government. You think it's the Republicans who are the beneficiary of corporate America? Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Walmart - all HUGE corporations and all Democrat supporters. Oh, and Disney and it's corporate octopus. War-mongers? Who started WWI, WWII, Vietnam? Democrat presidents. Haters? Sure. Like the KKK. Oops - that was run by Democrats.

Mind you, I'm no supporter of Republican policies, I'm a Libertarian. But if you're going to comment on politically charged issues, at least be honest, unlike MSNBC, CNN, FOX, ABC, NBC and especially CBS.

In the 2014 election only a small percentage voted. Thanks to gerrymandering the number of Republicans running were almost assured of victory because the Democrats were spread out so they could not influence particular districts. The number of votes for Democrats was greater than the number of votes for Republicans.

Libertarian? Ha! The fact that you had to resort to that old chestnut about the KKK shows where your loyalties lie. Go back to the 1800s in order to ignore what is happening now.

K/O

So then how do you explain why he did the EXACT same thing on ABC the next morning?

George S did not call him "boy" or do anything else that should have "flustered him"

Some would say that he has been "programmed" that at the first hint of adversity to "pivot" to well memorized lines out of his stump speech as his "escape mechanism"

It would be interesting to look back at the earlier debates and see just how many times he did what he did Saturday night but somehow it either not noticed or at least not called out on it.

I think he's been doing the same thing Christie called him on for a long time - several candidates do, he's not alone. I have to say the Big Guy really rattled him and I don't think he knows how to adapt to the change of being called out. I did not see him with George S - but I am guessing he's doubling down and hoping to ride it out, barring some new issue, or a feeding frenzy when the other sharks see the blood.

Christie help the Dems with this - and we are grateful.

Sooooo i was doing a little internet thingy thing on the ROK or Return of Kings or for those not in the know the site created by the guy who said...

(From here)
Daryush Valizadeh: Top 10 most insane quotes from Return of Kings leader Roosh V

"My default opinion of any girl I meet is 'worthless dirty whore until proven otherwise'. When so many girls have opened their legs up for me so quickly and easily, it's hard for me to respect them [and their opinions or ideas] like I would a family member or close friend.

"I do not feel any closer to a girl when I pump her, and most of the time I respect her less because my opinion of her as a worthless dirty whore who probably likes being choked was proven correct."

"Gay marriage is part of a long war that will eventually criminalise or socially forbid certain aspects of heterosexual behaviour at the same time it oversexualises young children in order to introduce them to homosexuality."

"If rape becomes legal under my proposal, a girl will protect her body in the same manner that she protects her purse and smartphone. If rape becomes legal, a girl will not enter an impaired state of mind where she can’t resist being dragged off to a bedroom with a man who she is unsure of—she’ll scream, yell, or kick at his attempt while bystanders are still around. If rape becomes legal, she will never be unchaperoned with a man she doesn’t want to sleep with. After several months of advertising this law throughout the land, rape would be virtually eliminated on the first day it is applied."

Yup, the website he created posted this......

Donald Trump’s Presidential Campaign Is The Biggest Political Uprising In Decades

It’s clear that Donald Trump’s combination of nationalist, conservative policy proposals, his personal charisma and his willingness to speak the truth will carry him through the presidential primaries.

---------------------------------------------

Think i should remind people here that we're talking about the same presidential hopeful that has been endorsed by.....

KKK Leader Finds Donald Trump a Great Recruiting Tool

The KKK is using the Republican presidential frontrunner as an outreach tool, Rachel Pendergraft, the national membership coordinator for the Knights Party, told The WashingtonPost. Trump’s candidacy, which has been characterized by often divisive nativist rhetoric, has “electrified” some members, the newspaper reported Monday.

-------------------------------------

Who i might add said.....

Donald Trump on terrorists: 'Take out their families'

"The other thing with the terrorists is you have to take out their families, when you get these terrorists, you have to take out their families. They care about their lives, don't kid yourself. When they say they don't care about their lives, you have to take out their families,"

-------------------------------------------

Yeah i think i see a pattern here annnnnnnd we haven't even gotten to the financial aspect of all of this. To be fair though, some republicans have been voicing their disagreement. And when they do they are met with...

Seems like theres some serious trouble in paradise.

Who is this guy? Why does anyone pay attention to him?

Sorry for the long reply but i'm guessing it's because he tells guys what they want to hear. Which is that they are not in any way shape or form at fault for their current troubles.

A 10th State Defunded Planned Parenthood. Why There’s So Much Momentum Now.

“Not one more penny should go to Planned Parenthood, a scandal-plagued abortion business that does not provide comprehensive health care services for women,” Casey Mattox, Alliance Defending Freedom senior counsel, said in a statement.

BINGO.......

In the South, it seems, old prejudices have persisted. Southern counties that had more slaves on the eve of the Civil War are distinct from their neighbors: White residents in those areas are more hostile toward African Americans and they are more likely to vote Republican today, new research shows. Drawing on archival Census figures and recent polls, the study adds to an expanding body of evidence on the importance of racial anxiety to the predominantly white Republican coalition.

The GOP is killing itself little by little, day by day. They're a sad lot, desperate to keep the poor and middle classes on their knees.

The GOP - aka The Family Values Party - conveniently skipped over this most dire warning of the Gospels: "For the love of money is the root of all evil."

Fox News: Millionaires being paid to tell the middle class to hate the poor - and this all while the middle class is shrinking and getting poorer by the day. Bill O'Reilly of Faux News...know that hater of the poor? He's a damn good Catholic..

Redistribution of wealth = when 1/10 of 1% owns the bulk of the wealth in the US. Bernie Sanders nailed that.

If we can just get the bulk of cavemen Republicans out of the House and Senate.............

And it's the big bad federal government that wants to steal money from the well-deserved millionaires and give it to the working class. That's are you ready....socialism. Oh and never mind the definition of socialism : Socialism is a range of economic and social systems characterised by social ownership and democratic control of the means of production; as well as the political ideologies, theories, and movements that aim at their establishment.

And not only are they getting poorer now but death rates are rising.

Bobby Jindal and the conservative legislature had been f************ this state from the day he set foot in office. Still, they (conservatives, wealthy AND poor) couldn't vote for him FAST enough. Why? Because they figured voting for him would mean sticking it to someone ELSE: to "those people."

Exact SAME reason why they voted out a woman (Mary Landrieu) who'd served in the best interest of this state for years.

And once again, "those people" turned out to be THEM. Serves 'em right, I'd say.
